An SKS, a Mosin, a lever gun and a block of wood. Four top shooters, no say in what they get. Can any rifle hit long range? 👀

This WILL Improve Your Accuracy Even a small amount of cant can push your shots off target, especially at distance. There’s no reason to run without a rifle level, and if you’re skipping it, you’re leaving hits on the table.

How Many Shots Make a Group? It depends on what you’re testing. Five shots is a good minimum for most centerfire calibers, while checking vertical dispersion at 1,000 yards might take 10. Rimfire can call for 20 or 25-round groups to catch anything unusual. Anything less than five, and you’re not really getting the full picture.

Does Your Bolt Need Lube? More isn’t always better. Grease can attract dust and grit, especially in dry, dusty conditions, while cleaner climates may only need a little on the lugs. In this video, we break down why the right amount of bolt lube depends on where you shoot.

SHOULD you Upgrade your Trigger? 🤔 In most cases, yes, but it depends on what rifle you’re starting with. A hunting rifle with an adjustable trigger may already be fine, and you probably don’t want it set as light as a competition trigger anyway.

The Secret to Eliminating Muzzle Rise One of the DRT’s most underrated features is its lower bore axis. Sitting the action and barrel as low as possible in the chassis sends recoil straight back into your shoulder and cuts down on muzzle jump.

Don’t Let Your Bipod Get in the Way Leaving the bipod on can catch when you’re putting the rifle in or pulling it out of the case. Pulling the bipod first makes it a clean, easy fit every time.

How EXPERIENCED Shooters get Stable If all three legs aren’t firmly planted, the weight isn’t evenly spread, so the tripod teeters. You end up putting more force into the rifle to keep it steady, which makes it way less stable.
