CMS is working to lower prescription drug costs through negotiating lower prices with drug companies. The AHA supports that goal and is urging CMS to make those lower prices available upfront, at the point of sale, instead of through complicated rebates after the fact. This would help hospitals, pharmacies and patients benefit from a clearer, simpler process. aha.org/letterscomments/2026…
