🚨 Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick defends GTA 6's delays, seemingly taking a shot at Cyberpunk 2077's disastrous launch.
Speaking to The Wall Street Journal, Zelnick explained why delaying GTA 6 was the right decision despite the additional costs.
He criticized companies that prioritize release deadlines over game quality, referencing a major title that launched in such a broken state it had to be pulled from sale.
“They shipped, and they had to pull the title after shipping, because it didn’t work.”
Although he never named the game, many believe he was referring to Cyberpunk 2077, which Sony removed from the PlayStation Store shortly after its 2020 launch.
Zelnick emphasized that GTA 6's delay was necessary rather than optional, with Rockstar determined to deliver the best possible experience.

Marvel’s Wolverine has reportedly sold just 2.4 MILLION copies since launch 📉
For comparison:
⭐ Spider-Man (2018) sold over 9 million copies in under 3 months.
⭐ Wolverine reportedly had a development budget exceeding $300 million, more than triple Spider-Man’s estimated budget.
Despite its massive budget, Wolverine’s sales are falling far behind Spider-Man.
Disappointing sales figures for Sony and Insomniac, especially considering the game's massive budget.
