Big win that, and a positive weekend for MK with both Hull & Swindon dropping points.
A fit Whale is a game changer for us, looks different gravy.
Top of the league, looking ok in the cup, top goalscorers, joint least goals against.
Has been a good start to the season ⚡️
Thankfully we have a large squad, but that’s 4 big players, plus our coach, that’ll be missing on Saturday against a Swindon team, also coachless, who’ll be looking to bounce back from defeat to Leeds Sunday.
Good one for us to win ⚡️

Disappointing for Stenton having to miss out because he was on the receiving end of a poor hit that’s injured him. But Jake has played really well for MK to start the season, so good to see him get the opportunity

Jared Whale gets the start tonight as Lightning look to snap a streak of 3 straight away losses against a Steeldogs team who have a strong home record, only losing once in OT to Raiders.

It’s fright night in MK as the Phantoms are in town for a Halloween showdown 👻
Pete names the same personnel as travelled to Swindon for the shoot out loss last Sunday, with the only change in net, where Heds gets the start tonight.
Griff continues in his 4th line forward role
Wonder who this could be…. Telford looking for an Import? Potty looking to replace theirs……?
If it is someone looking to replace a Brit nettie, they’ll need to gas one of the other imports to bring them in

Great to see Carter Hamill, Hazeldine & Beattie called up to the GB squad.
Does however mean they’ll miss the visit of Swindon next Saturday, along with Pete 😬
Swindon will be missing their head coach also for the game
Assume they’ll be back for Potty on the Sunday

Always happy to get a point in Swindon, but a bit disappointing having been two goals ahead. Still, long way to go, could be massive come the end of the season.
Phantoms in town next week, let’s hope it’s no fright night and we can get back to winning ways again
A tight, end-to-end battle that couldn’t be separated in regulation or overtime, but unfortunately, the shootout goes the Wildcats’ way tonight.
The team showed fantastic determination throughout, battling hard to take the game all the way to a shootout, but Lightning narrowly miss out on the extra point.
We take a point on the road and go again back at home next Saturday night ⚡

Griff down as 4th line winger 👀
🐳 Whale, Hello there! 👀
Jared Whale makes his first appearance of the season as The Pitbulls come to town to face a Lightning side looking to bounce back from defeat in Hull last Sunday
Cownie remains sidelined so it’s the same personal from that loss last week
