I no longer want to climb ladders or work tons of extra hours. I care about doing work that matters for a company I believe in with good WLB. I’ve seen this called the “villain” era. I like to think of it as my “I finally give the right amount of fucks in the right places” era.
Yikes… I don’t know if I stumbled into the wrong corner of the Fishbowl app, or if that’s just what that app is like - mostly just big 4 consulting bros exhibiting large amounts of douchebaggery. Is that all it is, or am I missing something?

Put in some headphones and turn on the vacuum. Seemingly nothing is more inspirational for calling forth all of their thoughts and questions.
It’s been 15 years, 1 marriage, 2 kids, 4 pets, 4 house moves, 4 US presidents, and many grey hairs since I’ve started a brand new job. But all that changes in just over a week! I’m excited and scared; I’m ex-scare-ted!!
I’m up for any and all tips, advice, and encouragement!
The number of times I’ve hung up on an unknown number in the amount of time between when I click “connect” on my mobile VPN authentication and when the phone rings is too damn high.
It’s a real bitch to lose your sense of smell and taste on Thanksgiving morning.
But you know what would be worse? If I wasn’t vaccinated and was in the hospital for Thanksgiving.
