The NHL Alumni Association is heartbroken to learn that Stephen Peat has passed away from his injuries after a tragic accident just over two weeks ago. He was only 44 years old.
Stephen was drafted 32nd overall by the @AnaheimDucks in 1998. In 2000, he was traded to the @Capitals and would play in 130 regular-season games, scoring 10 points for the franchise. Peat finished his pro career in the AHL following the 2006-07 season.
In the wake of this tragic accident, Stephen will be helping to save numerous lives through organ donation.
We send our deepest condolences to Stephen’s family, friends, and former teammates during this difficult time.
Such an exciting time when it really felt like the team and all the supporters came together to enjoy it. Glad to see things are looking so positive again.
How good would it be to do this 👇 🇪🇺🏒 all over again?
8 years ago now, but what an experience it was for everyone associated with the @ClanIHC to compete in the @championshockey only 5 years since the club was formed.

Giannis is outstanding: “There’s no failure in sports. There’s good days, bad days, some days you are able to be successful, some days you are not, some days it is your turn, some days it’s not. That’s what sports is about. You don’t always win.”

The NHL Alumni Association is heartbroken to learn that Raymond Sawada has passed away at the young age of 38.
Sawada was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2004 @NHL Entry Draft to the @DallasStars. He played 11 games with the team, scoring a point.
Raymond’s love for the game continued on after his NHL career with his involvement in the Burnaby, BC community, and coaching his two daughters. He was a dedicated and hard-working firefighter, family man, and incredible friend.
We send our deepest condolences to his wife Nicole, daughters Victoria and Charlotte, his family, and friends during this very difficult time.

The @ClanOSC is a huge part of what makes playing for the Clan so appealing. So much work goes in behind the scenes, it doesn’t go unnoticed! Thank you for the unwavering support for the club.
Did you know we have honorary members?
Our very first in 2017 was Clan Captain and fan favourite #8 Matt Keith who received a lifetime membership and a token gift of thanks for all his help during the season.

2/3 night has to be one of the best I’ve got to play infront of. The fan support is second to none, the rivalries with Dundee and Fife are healthy and continuously growing. We need all three teams to have success, and Braehead Arena is a huge part of that.
1/2In light of this weeks press release from @ClanIHC, I want to send a message to show my support for not only the Clan but ice hockey in all of Scotland. I fully support their bid to take over the Braehead Arena. In 14 years of pro hockey, the atmosphere in that barn on a game
Hands down one of my favorite memories from Glasgow. The boys singing this song the day after Lola was born and after a big win. @clanihc @ Belfast, N.Ireland instagram.com/p/CB6xzm0D5iPk…
Thanks @ClanIHC @GarethChalmers @GerryMcLaughlin for showing that game. Brought back so many memories. What a time that was to be at Clan. #clanclassics
