I think itâs good that the Vision storyline veer away from Wanda Maximoffâs
It was cute at first and fun. However, his calculating intensely within himself and the other AIâs to the point where it seems to be forcing him to become something better. Iâm sure it will stay true to some sort of comic book Cannon.
The MCU has a serious identity problem with White Vision, and I don't think fans are asking the right questionâŠ
My biggest question after #VisionQuest :
What if the real purpose of this series isnât to bring White Vision back to who he was, but to force him to become someone entirely new?
He has Visionâs body, but does that automatically make him the same person who loved Wanda and raised their children?
At what point does a copy stop being a copy and become its own person?
I would absolutely fill up my Syd Mead designed future car there! :-)
Incredibles stunt actress!!
Olivia Jackson is one of Hollywoodâs most respected stunt performers, having doubled for Charlize Theron in Mad Max: Fury Road, Elizabeth Olsen in Avengers: Age of Ultron, and Karen Gillan in Guardians of the Galaxy. But on September 5, 2015, while working as Milla Jovovichâs stunt double on Resident Evil: The Final Chapter in South Africa, her life changed forever. Originally scheduled to film a fight scene, she was reassigned to a motorcycle stunt because of rain. The stunt required her to ride at 43 mph past a van-mounted camera on a crane that was supposed to lift over her head. After two successful rehearsals, the first live take turned into a catastrophe.
The camera crane failed to rise in time, and Olivia collided with it at full speed. The impact caused devastating injuries, including severe facial damage, brain swelling, multiple fractures, ruptured arteries, punctured lungs, broken ribs, permanent paralysis affecting part of her body, a severed thumb, and a permanently dislocated shoulder. She spent 17 days in a coma, and her left arm ultimately had to be amputated. According to Olivia and accounts presented in the subsequent legal proceedings, the crane operator had been instructed to delay the camera lift by one second to capture a better shot, without informing her. Her legal team argued that this change created a closing-distance difference of approximately 105 feet. Fellow stunt performers also raised serious concerns about inadequate safety briefings and protective equipment.
The aftermath was devastating. Olivia lost the career she loved and faced lifelong medical needs. She said the productionâs representatives had promised to support her medical expenses, but the accident insurance reportedly provided only $33,000. She later declined an undisclosed settlement offer that required her not to sue. After pursuing legal action, a U.S. court ruled on April 1, 2020, that the stunt had been poorly planned and executed by the company operating the camera crane, and that Oliviaâs driving was not responsible for the accident. She expressed her pain in heartbreaking words: âI miss my old face. I miss my old body. I miss my old life.â Despite the film grossing hundreds of millions of dollars, she said the people responsible had not provided the financial support she needed.
Tragically, Oliviaâs accident was not the only serious safety incident associated with the Resident Evil franchise. Stunt performers and background actors suffered significant injuries during other productions, and stuntman Ricardo Cornelius died after an accident while filming The Final Chapter. These incidents raised disturbing questions about safety standards in the film industry and the price performers are expected to pay for entertainment. Olivia loved her work with all her heart, but a single stunt changed everything. Her story is a painful reminder that no cinematic shot is worth a human life, and no performer should have to sacrifice their future because of preventable safety failures.
I like applying Googie architecture in certain areas of theme parks where they fit. Something like a main street USA at the end of it with a gas station or a diner. Or on a particular ride attraction, depending on the character and storyline, etc..
Replying to @MLMcCoyEXP
I do love Googie architecture. I saw a lot in 1978 when I was 2, I loved my first visit to Disneyland and the domed monorail. But also the lovely American spirit back then, complimenting the futuristic googie look.
When I watch the Incredibles or think of Tomorrowland I recall googie arcetecture.

Great theory
What if Ultron was based on Tony Stark?
Rewatching Age of Ultron, I noticed something interesting. when Ultron tells Klaue, "Keep your friends rich and your enemies rich, and wait to find out which is which," Klaue immediately recognizes it as something Tony used to say
but when Klaue suggests that Ultron is one of Tony's creations, Ultron gets genuinely angry and starts insisting that he's nothing like Stark
and we know Tony has a massive ego
What if Ultron was based on Tony's personality, but with all his worst traits amplified? His arrogance, his need for control, and his belief that he knows what's best for everyone.
Fabulous!!
While in Florida recently, I stayed at an AirBnB outfitted by the great Tommy Allsmiller (@Typhoon_Tommy) who recently restored the famous Mai Kai Restaurant in Fort Lauderdale. It was a Tiki dream-come-true! On the AirBnB site, itâs Mananui House in Kissimmee, owned and managed by Tahiti Gil. A real tropical hideaway, minutes from that other tropical hideaway!
This is like an urban planning session at Harvard School of Design based on a comic book, storyline⊠đ
The futuristic, Space Age style used for many classic American hamburger stands, coffee shops, and drive-ins. It was named after the Googieâs Coffee Shop in Los Angeles and became strongly associated with Southern California roadside design.
#TimBurton I totally get itâŠ.
While working on Disney's "The Fox and the Hound" (1981), Tim Burton was paired with animator Glen Keane but struggled to conform to the studio's traditional animation style. Burton admitted that his drawings of four-legged foxes looked like "roadkills," and he was assigned distant shots where his difficulties reproducing the Disney style would be less noticeable.
Burton later described his time at Disney as emotionally difficult, saying the experience nearly drove him to a nervous breakdown. Burton exhibited erratic behavior, such as sleeping in a studio closet and intentionally pulling out cotton from his wisdom teeth extraction to bleed all over his desk, making colleagues uncomfortable as a way to express his "weird kid" persona.
Reassigned to concept development for "The Black Cauldron" (1985), Burton spent months drawing bizarre creatures, characters, props, and furniture, including unconventional interpretations of the Horned King and Gwythaints.
Working alongside animator Andreas Deja, Burton enjoyed considerable creative freedom, but the studio ultimately rejected his unconventional designs in favor of a more traditional Disney appearance. None of Burton's character concepts made it into the completed film, although his work impressed several fellow animators and helped establish the distinctive visual imagination that would define his later career.

đš JOHNNY DEPP HAS FANS ASKING ONE DISTURBING QUESTION⊠IS THAT REALLY HIM??
Did Hollywood replace Johnny Depp?
That's the question gaining attention after new footage of the Hollywood superstar in Shanghai started going viral online.
And some fans are convinced the man they're watching isn't Johnny Depp.
His eyes.
His face.
His mannerisms.
People are comparing the footage to older videos, pointing out differences they believe are impossible to ignore.
Years ago, Depp openly criticized Hollywood, suggesting celebrities were expected to fall in line rather than be themselves.
Then came the explosive Amber Heard trial.
The humiliating testimony.
The disturbing personal revelations.
The public spectacle that captivated millions.
And his controversial departure from the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise.
Now people are connecting the dots.
Some claim the trial was actually a Hollywood humiliation ritual designed to punish an actor who refused to follow the industry's rules.
And they're taking that theory one step further.
What if the man appearing in public today isn't the same Johnny Depp who once dominated Hollywood?
Does Johnny Depp simply look different as he's gotten older, or is there something about these new videos that makes you question whether you're even looking at the same man?
Crazy isnât it? Because of the three Caballeros, I actually thought Disney might put a theme park in Brazil at one point. lol, turns out itâs Yas Island!
