We hear the news of Fredric Jameson's passing with great sadness. The world has lost an invaluably critical voice. To honor his legacy, we revisit our 1982 issue on "The Political Unconscious" by Hayden White, Terry Eagleton, and others. Read it on JSTOR: jstor.org/stable/i219950

OMG SO pleased to see this. I remember the thrill when it was accepted. I had first presented it at an MLA session, Reading José Donoso with José Donoso.
And now for our excellent 1988 issue, which we also found for sale at the world's largest bookstore... 👀
The issue features a who's who of major Hispanists.
Among them is @rgfeal. We most highly recommend her wonderful piece on José Donoso's "El jardín de al lado."
