Lucas Herrington and Nestory Irankunda stayed out until 11:05PM last night taking photos with fans π²π
They had to be dragged in by Socceroos staff an hour after kickoff - what a pair of class acts.

One of the funniest scenes in a TV show. Peak Arrested Development ranks among the greatest sitcoms ever. It's a pity that seasons 4 and 5 harmed the show's legacy. I'm guilty; I petitioned hard for the comeback. Be careful what you wish for.

Easy to champion the people who made sacrifices for World Cup winners, what about all the grandparents whose kids were shit? My dad drove me to every cricket ground from Barnstaple to Wells to watch me average 3.5, surely thatβs more commendable

π¨ π‘ππͺ: FIFA will examine the possibility of expanding the 2030 World Cup to 64 teams after the success of the 48-team format.
Β· FIFA president Gianni Infantino said the proposal will be reviewed by the organization's committees once the 2026 World Cup concludes. He argued that giving more nations a chance to participate helps grow football worldwide.
Β· Infantino pointed to the competitiveness of the expanded 48-team tournament, highlighting surprise performances from smaller nations and the strong showing by African teams as evidence that broader participation has improved the competition rather than weakened it.

Group stage is the best stage. The tournament is young, summer is young. Youβre inundated with an endless marathon of games. All the teams, including yours, are in so anything can happen. Once you get to the quarters youβre reminded that it will all be over soon and youβll die
