A quick note of gratitude for our teachers.
My work with @EckrichMeats and @CFPExtraYard @CFBPlayoff is such a wonderful reminder of their important and lasting influence on our kids.
Few students openly express their love for mathematics. However, occasionally, some will thoughtfully share their feelings about the impact of your presence.
Well said @RyanVernosh! During the school year, I put in an average of 30 hours outside of school hours. Also, don’t get me started on the pay cut teachers take to teach summer school.
One week ago, I was blessed to be recognized as the 2024 Concordia University, Saint Paul Educator of the Year. This award is certainly the most meaning as this university aided me to find my purpose - and provided me a free laptop for enrolling 20 years ago.
I vote to better the working conditions for me and my colleagues, and to better the classroom and learning experience for the students I serve.
