💻 TECH THURSDAY: HOW ISRAEL BUILT A MISSILE THAT CAN INTERCEPT BALLISTIC MISSILES IN SPACE
Born out of Cold War-era cooperation between Israel and the United States, the Arrow missile defense system has evolved over nearly four decades from an experimental concept into one of the highest layers of Israel’s missile-defense network.
This deep dive traces the story from Arrow 1 and the lessons of Saddam Hussein’s Scud attacks, through Arrow 2, to Arrow 3, designed to destroy incoming ballistic missiles through direct collision beyond Earth’s atmosphere.

🚨 “ASHAMED TO WORK AT GOOGLE”? GO WORK FOR CHINA.
SHAMEFUL, Google DeepMind researchers are quitting over the company’s expanding work with the U.S. military, warning that AI could be deployed in classified combat environments without enough oversight.
Research engineer Sofia Liguori resigned this week, saying Google’s growing push into military AI made her “ashamed to work at Google.” Another researcher, Andreas Kirsch, also resigned, questioning whether Google can meaningfully control how its technology is used once handed to the Pentagon.
More than 600 Google employees had already petitioned the company earlier this year over classified Pentagon AI work.
Google says its military contracts remain subject to its AI principles and safeguards.
Apparently building the world’s most powerful AI is fine.
Using it to help defend the country that built it? That’s where some employees draw the line.
🚨 EL-SAYED CALLS FOR MUSLIM ACTIVISM IN POLITICS AND MEDIA
At a 2019 Islamic convention, Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed reportedly declared: “The Time for Action Is Now.”
He urged Muslims to become activists, journalists, academics, and public leaders, calling Palestine, Uyghurs, Kashmir, racism, sexism, and U.S. border repression Muslim issues. He claims there is no need for more doctors or engineers.
He refers to these issues being an issue of “racism.”

🚨 JD VANCE MOCKS EUROPE’S STARLINK DEPENDENCE
“I find it a little ironic that European countries — who have nothing like the technology Elon Musk has developed in Starlink and have universally waged regulatory war against SpaceX — are all now running to SpaceX saying, ‘Please do what we need you to do.’”
Europe has spent years talking about “strategic autonomy” while becoming deeply dependent on American technology it simultaneously wants to regulate. Recent EU proposals could restrict SpaceX access to parts of the European satellite market, even as Starlink remains critical infrastructure for Ukraine and European security.
🚨 TOP VIRGINIA DEMOCRAT ARRESTED ON FEDERAL RICO, DRUG AND CORRUPTION CHARGES
Virginia Senate leader Louise Lucas, 82, has been arrested following a federal indictment alleging racketeering, marijuana trafficking, money laundering and political corruption.
Prosecutors allege she exploited her political influence to build “generational wealth.”
Lucas allegedly declared: “I’ve got too old to not be greedy.”
Two daughters and a grandson were also indicted.
🚨 LEBANON’S PRIME MINISTER TO HEZBOLLAH: YOU DON’T GET TO DECIDE WAR AND PEACE
Prime Minister Nawaf Salam delivered an unusually direct message during a Cabinet session:
The Lebanese state alone decides war and peace. Only official security forces may carry weapons. And anyone storing or transporting weapons outside state authority should face investigation, prosecution and the harshest penalties under Lebanese law.
Salam has repeatedly insisted that Hezbollah must honor its commitments and surrender the state’s monopoly over arms.
The question now is whether Beirut is prepared to enforce those words against Hezbollah.
🚨 UNUSUAL U.S. MILITARY FLIGHTS RAISE QUESTIONS OVER POSSIBLE ASSET EVACUATION FROM MIDDLE EAST
A KC-46A tanker and C-5M cargo aircraft departed Al-Udeid Air Base in Qatar, another C-5M left Dubai, and a CV-22B Osprey headed toward U.S. Navy vessels in the Arabian Sea.
Several aircraft reportedly used the “RCH” callsign, associated with U.S. military airlift operations.
The movements could indicate the repositioning or evacuation of U.S. military assets.

🚨 REPORTER: “Ilhan Omar had a very shocking response to reporters today when they asked her if was married to her brother… She said, ‘Not to my knowledge.’”
PRESIDENT TRUMP: “That’s not a good answer. That’s an answer that a lot of us assumed.”
🚨 EL AL DELAYS MARRAKECH FLIGHTS AMID NEW SECURITY DIRECTIVES
El Al postpones its Tel Aviv–Marrakech relaunch, canceling flights through December 15 following tightened Israeli security requirements after the flydubai terror attack.
Arkia and Israir have also halted ticket sales.
🇺🇸 TRUMP: NO IRAN TALKS, BUT SOMETHING COULD HAPPEN SOON
President Trump says the U.S. is not negotiating with Iran but hints at developments soon, possibly after the elections.
Asked if he regrets going to war against Iran, Trump replied:
“I think it’s one of the greatest things we’ve done.”
🚨 CANADA AND TÜRKİYE DEEPEN DEFENCE TIES
Because apparently Ottawa looked at Erdoğan’s Türkiye and thought: exactly the partner we need more closely tied into Western defence.
Canada and Türkiye are expanding military and defence-industrial cooperation, including potential work in aerospace, drones and naval technology.
NATO gets more interesting by the day.

🚨 IRANIAN RIAL PLUNGES TO NEW RECORD LOW
Iran’s currency has reportedly collapsed to a record low of 2.73 million rials per US dollar, breaking three weeks of relative stability between 2.6 million and 2.7 million.

Elon Musk:
There's a limit to what any single human can consume. You hit that saturation point pretty fast.
Going from a billion dollars in net worth to $10 billion doesn't make you ten times happier or mean you have ten times more stuff.
It actually means you've got a resource allocation problem.
🚨 NY LEADERS WARN ANTI-ZIONIST GROUP OVER JEWISH EVENTS
Rep. Ritchie Torres and three Bronx officials warned Pal-Awda ahead of a planned Saturday protest in Riverdale targeting an Israel-linked event.
“The Bronx will not tolerate it,” they declared, condemning efforts to intimidate Jewish families.
🇮🇱🇮🇳 ISRAELI TRIBUTE TO OUR INDIAN HERO & PM
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says he spoke with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and invited him to light a torch at Israel’s Independence Day ceremony alongside the Indian pilot hailed as a hero for helping save the Flydubai flight.
Netanyahu said Modi praised the courage shown during the incident and stressed that Israel and India “fight terrorism together” — on the ground and in the air.

🇮🇱➡️🇺🇸 FROM ONE ELECTION TO THE NEXT
Follow @RuthSarahIsrael and their journey across America.
On October 27, they’ll start the morning by casting their ballots in Israel.
Then Sarah and her husband are getting on a plane and heading straight to the United States for an eight-day election road trip across America with YES! Israel.
Along the way, they’ll be meeting Senators and Members of Congress, spotlighting the people who have stood with Israel, and taking us behind the scenes as America heads to the polls.
Two democracies. Two elections. One very interesting road trip. This should be worth watching. 🇮🇱🇺🇸
🚨 NETANYAHU: WE SHUTTERED UK CONSULATE SO “THEY KNOW WE MEAN BUSINESS”
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says Britain was “absolutely shocked” by Israel’s decision to downgrade the UK consulate in Jerusalem following London’s sanctions targeting Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria.
“The days when Jews can be intimidated or led to the slaughter, and then receive all the vilifications that come with appeasement — those days are over.”
“I speak up for the Jewish people.”
You do not need to be a body language expert to see she is REALLY uncomfortable.
🚨 ILHAN OMAR “NOT SURE” IF SHE MARRIED HER BROTHER?
Asked directly whether she was related at all to former husband Ahmed Nur Said Elmi, Omar initially denied the longstanding allegation — then added an extraordinary qualifier:
“Not to my knowledge.”
That is a remarkably less categorical answer than simply saying, “No, we are not related.”
NOTE: This was Omar’s first major public interview after federal agents searched her Washington home in an immigration-fraud investigation that could potentially have consequences for her citizenship. Omar denies wrongdoing.
If this interview was meant to put the controversy behind her, “not to my knowledge” is unlikely to end the questions.
