Opportunity Cost. An important part of financial education is opportunity cost. If I bought a $155 pair of shoes in 2022 when Bitcoin was $15k, and BTC is now approaching $100k, then 100/15 = 6.66. If I had spent that $155 on Bitcoin, I would have $1033 more BTC today. So that $155 pair of shoes had an opportunity cost of ($155 x 6.66) $1033 as of now, and will continue to grow as the BTC marketcap continues to grow.

Everyone has seen inflation go crazy in the past 4 years. In contrast, every 4 years the supply of newly mined Bitcoin gets cut in half - this is the Halving Cycle. Notice the value of the average home priced in USD vs priced in BTC in the slide. While USD is inflationary - buys less & less over time, BTC is deflationary - buys more & more over time.
