Oracy isn’t “prog”.
Some students go all day barely saying a word related to their learning … it’s defo something we need more of. And it’s not instead of anything; just part of a good curriculum/learning culture.

‘History is the fruit of power, but power itself is never so transparent that its analysis becomes superfluous. The ultimate mark of power may be its invisibility; the ultimate challenge, the exposition of its roots’.

We will continue to prepare students to challenge all forms of discrimination and oppression, to learn from history with our collective dream and intent that the repeated failure of humanity to protect life is not repeated. Young people offer hope and a brighter future.

History informs us that the dream of oppression in whatever pursuit, is normally at the expense and nightmare of people who are dehumanised and forgotten. We will tell their story.

Providing students with a voice, equipping them with the opportunities and oracy skills to challenge what is wrong legally and morally in the correct way will continue to be built in to our curriculum.
