The Mine Kafon is a remarkably simple and affordable invention designed to tackle one of the world’s most dangerous threats: landmines. Created by Afghan designer Massoud Hassani, this wind-powered device operates without electricity, motors, or remote controls. Constructed from lightweight bamboo rods and plastic feet, it moves naturally across the landscape as the wind pushes it forward.
When the Mine Kafon rolls over a buried landmine, its weight can trigger an explosion. Although the blast may damage some of its legs, the device is designed to withstand partial destruction and potentially continue moving to detonate additional mines.
In places like Afghanistan, where unexploded landmines have devastated communities for generations, this innovative rolling sphere represents a creative, low-cost approach to making dangerous land safer.

어제 도서관 갔었는데 어떤 나이 90은 되어보이는 꼬부랑 할배가 컴퓨터로 뭘 오랜시간 걸려 타이핑해서 네이버 검색을 하시더라고.
꼬부랑 할배는 뭐가 궁금하신걸까해서 훔쳐봤더니 '2027년 신춘문예 공모' 였음.
일본처럼 소설가 스타 할배, 할매 시인 스타들 주르륵 나오는 시기인걸까 싶음.
그러고보니 미국 제 2차 시빌워가 다음주 부터 시작인가.

PS: Grok has been a failure. Elon IPO got saved by NeoCloud business as he's good at it and rented GPUs to anthropic. Elon is trying to play monopoly to tank market and stocks of NeoClouds, so that he can buy up more supply for cheap. He's extremely good at financial engineering and building things fast by pushing through red tape

As of the past few weeks, debt markets have almost entirely shut off access to money for any company that doesn’t have substantial revenue independent of AI data centers.
SpaceX closed $40B of debt for GPUs, but we’re investment grade and have Starlink & launch revenue.
That means the 200+ neoclouds are going to see guppy-level death and consolidation. Some will make it through, but not many.
