A cleric (deacon, priest and bishop) is called by God to serve his people the flock (vocation). This call is carried and lived in a vessel of clay (fragility of human being). This fragility can sometimes become a significant hindrance to the living of the clerical status, so much so that the concerned can ask or be asked to leave the ministry temporarily or permanently.
