Fabian Ruiz has got to be the most underrated footballer in the world over the last few years… Always 8/10 minimum, vital to UCL & WC winning sides, plays about 3 roles, never gives the ball away EVER and yet you never see his name in the convo for world’s best midfielder. 🤷‍♂️

I also think Botheim and Christiansen is puuure class, I thought we would miss Austbø more than we do. It seems like Viking not really need a player with those 1v1 qualities, Tripic and co creates just so many chances anyway

Fuglestad is so incredibly talented, Viking’s best dribbler and one of the most technical! Buuut, the best front 3 is still clearly Tripic-Botheim-PC, he needs to become more of a senior player. Still better than Olise and Karl though!

Artificial pitch excuse is pathetic. I expect a squad that costs a billion to beat a squad worth 50m regardless of what pitch they‘re playing on. And I expect them to keep a lead for 10 minutes against said team despite being down to 10.
