I is Angel Puggie, and it's #ThrowbackThursday. Dis is da #PonderingPug. I has so much compassion for da people of dis world. Each of dem go fru so many fings in deir earthly lives. When I first came to live wif my daddy, he struggled wif hurtful people. He struggled wif anger. He would get mad at da littlest fings. It got even worse when he started engaging wif others on da Internet. He found dem to be so mean. Whenever daddy would get dat way, I would bring him back to da present. I would try to help him see dat many people hurt so badly dat sometimes deir pain spills over onto others. It was really hard for him to see dat taking fings personally was a huge source of his own suffering. Den... Mommy got cancer, and Grandpa and Grandma got cancer, too. Our family experienced great pain. Daddy began lashing out at others. He couldn't handle da heartaches he was feeling. I didn't judge daddy. I wrapped my paws around his heart and loved him fru it. I encouraged him to have compassion and forgiveness for himself and to see others in a different light. Slowly, over time, daddy began to see dat much of his pain came from his own thoughts and beliefs about what people said and did. Our world needs a heavy dose of love, compassion and understanding, dear hearts. We needs to has compassion for ourselves and for others. To da precious-hearted friend reading dis message: I love you! I understand dat you face so many challenges. I know dat dere are days dat feel so hard and heavy. Please know dat you aren't alone.
