GOOD DAY, MR PRESIDENT: NIGERIANS DESERVE ACCOUNTABILITY
Good day, Mr President.
I congratulate you on spending a night in one of Nigeria’s states outside Lagos and Abuja. I hope you enjoyed the warmth, hospitality, and delicious cuisine of Akwa Ibom, which I am sure is even better than those of the destinations where you have spent over 260 days outside Nigeria since coming into office.
I sincerely hope this visit will inspire you to travel to the remaining 33 states of the federation, spend time with the people and, more importantly, explain what your administration has done with the ₦15.8 trillion saved from the removal of fuel subsidy, the over $100 billion you have borrowed, the increased revenues accruing to the government from taxing Nigerians, and the additional government revenues which your administration celebrated last year as having surpassed its target.
Nigerians deserve to know how many that were pulled out of poverty within this period, how many out-of-school children were returned to school, and how many functional primary healthcare centres you have built. They also deserve to know how much electricity supply has improved, especially given your promise that if you do not fix power, Nigerians should not vote for you. They deserve an explanation of how you have secured the country, which still ranks among the most terrorised countries in the world.
Mr President, Nigerians deserve answers. They deserve to know what has been done with the resources entrusted to your government.
The New Nigeria we want to build will be based on accountability, transparency, and the physical, measurable impact of our public resources on the lives of citizens.
A new Nigeria is POssible. -PO
Unless you were told , You will never Know that This is a Man !!!
How do I even convince my People that this is a Man ?
TO ALL THE NAYSAYERS ABOIT THE FLYDUBAI ATTEMPTED HIJACK
DEBUNKING THE ‘FLYDUBAI’ CONSPIRITARDS 🤡 1 of 3
1. "How did he get a weapon onboard?"
The Fact: He didn't sneak a knife past security. The official UAE investigation report confirmed the co-pilot used the cockpit’s own crash axe. By international law, a crash axe is a mandatory piece of emergency equipment standard-stored inside the cockpit. He simply reached over and grabbed the plane's own tool to launch the attack.
2. "Why did a plumber take control and not the 2 pilots?"
The Fact: This is completely scrambling the timeline. When the bleeding captain unlocked the door, passengers rushed in to wrestle the attacker. Passenger Yaniv Hayoun (the plumber) saw the plane diving, lunged forward, and pulled back on the yoke to level the aircraft based on what he'd seen on Air Crash Investigation. The two deadheading reserve pilots in the cabin then immediately entered the flight deck, assumed formal control of the instruments, and safely navigated the aircraft to Tabuk, Saudi Arabia.
3. "How did the Capt open the door while being stabbed?"
The Fact: He didn't casually stand up and twist a mechanical doorknob. Captain Smit Machchhar explicitly stated in his interview that he was on the floor bleeding when he realised the plane was plunging. Knowing lives were at stake, he gathered his strength for one final push to hit the electronic door override release switch right next to the seat console, unlocking it so the cabin crew and passengers could rush in.
4. "Where are the oxygen masks?"
The Fact: This is an embarrassing failure of basic systems knowledge. Emergency oxygen masks are triggered strictly by cabin barometric pressure, not by pitch, dives, or sudden altitude drops. Because the fuselage was perfectly intact, the cabin never lost air density or pressure. The aircraft computer had absolutely zero mechanical reason to deploy the masks.
5. "Why was he speaking English to Bibi / in bloody clothes?"
The Fact: The plumber, Yaniv Hayoun, is an Israeli citizen. When Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called him to thank him for saving the flight, they spoke in Hebrew, not English. As for the blood-soaked shirt, he spent hours being interviewed by Saudi security and medical teams at Tabuk Airport immediately after landing. He was a passenger in transit who had just wrestled a bleeding attacker in a cockpit—he didn’t have a fresh change of clothes packed in his carry-on bag.
6. “Why were all the screens off?”
The Fact: Flydubai is a low-cost carrier. A massive portion of their economy cabins don't even feature seatback entertainment screens, or they are entirely deactivated behind a corporate paywall unless a passenger pays to unlock them. Even on aircraft with screens, when a commercial plane undergoes a violent, uncommanded 14,000-foot altitude plunge, the aircraft's automated electrical computers instantly initiate load-shedding. The plane immediately cuts power to all non-essential luxury systems (like passenger TVs, galley ovens, and seat outlets) to ensure 100% of the electrical grid is dedicated strictly to the cockpit displays, flight instruments, and backup hydraulic pumps keeping the plane from breaking apart.
OTHER DEBUNKED FALLACIES
* The 'Unbreakable' Door: Nobody broke it down. The official investigation logs prove that the hero captain, Smit Machchhar, manually hit the electronic cockpit override switch to unlock the door from the inside so passengers could rush in and save his life.
* The 'Spare Pilots' Fail: Off-duty flight crew traveling as passengers is a daily industry routine called 'deadheading.' Repositioning reserve crews to major hubs like Tel Aviv happens every single day. They didn't stage a fight; they stepped in to land the plane after regular passengers restrained the attacker.

Have you swept this case under the carpet ?
This made more Sense
Since yesterday I’ve been grilling my husband about the Flydubai incident. He’s a commercial pilot. I threw every conspiracy at him until he snapped.
His exact words: “People already calling this fake is insane.”
So here’s what he said about the three dumbest theories.
1- “How did anyone get into the cockpit? The door locks from the inside.”
There’s a door-release switch right next to the pilot. He can unlock it from the flight deck. Once it’s released, people on the other side can shove it open and get in. Locked does not mean sealed forever.
2- “Why didn’t the oxygen masks drop?”
This isn’t a movie. Masks don’t fall because something scary happened. They deploy only if cabin pressure drops. A steep descent, even a violent one, does not automatically dump cabin pressure. No pressure loss, no masks. Simple as that.
3-“How did people reach the cockpit if the plane was nose-diving?”
“Nose dive” does not mean the jet was vertical. It was pitched down, not at 90 degrees. That attitude doesn’t pin you in your seat. It throws you forward, toward the cockpit. If you get up, you’re not fighting the dive. You’re being shoved down the aisle faster.
That’s it. Not a film. Not a hoax script. Just how the airplane actually works.
CLARIFYING THE ANAMBRA STATE DEBT ALLEGATION AS RAUSED BY GOV. C. SOLUDO
ON THE ANAMBRA DEBT QUESTION
I have remained silent over the past few days because I have been grieving the loss of my very dear elder brother and friend, Chief Okey Ezeibe. However, the time has come for me to address some of the matters that have occupied public discussion in recent days.
I respectfully urge everyone to concentrate on the existential challenges confronting Nigeria and the hardships endured by its citizens, rather than on the needless distractions that have become widespread in our politics.
I wish to assure the public that I have no disagreement with my dear elder brother, Governor Soludo, or with any governor in Nigeria. I am not seeking the office of governor in any state, and I will not seek that position again, even if the Constitution is amended.
Accordingly, I appeal to governors to support whichever presidential candidate they choose while also permitting and assisting other presidential candidates and contenders for other offices to campaign freely and without interruption in their states. Ultimately, voters should be allowed to determine whom they wish to serve them.
Regarding the multilateral funding inaccurately described as “debt owed by Peter Obi” in Anambra State, I wish to state unequivocally:
As Governor of Anambra State, I did not approach any financial institution to borrow funds or issue a bond on behalf of the state. Indeed, at his farewell ceremony, the then Director-General of the DMO, Abraham Nwankwo, appointed me chairman and declared that, during his 10 years in office, I was the only state governor who had not approached him for a loan facility.
When I left office, the Anambra State Government owed no unpaid salaries, gratuities, or pensions. Neither did it owe any contractor or supplier who had completed work that the government had verified and certified.
Regarding development financing from the World Bank, these are concessionary development-support funds secured by the Federal Government for states selected by it to address specific needs. Repayment is spread over 25 to 30 years.
The Anambra State Government must therefore differentiate among three separate figures: the total amount approved for the multiyear development program; the amount Anambra State actually drew during my tenure; and the funding balance outstanding when I handed over on 17 March 2014.
The government has combined these distinct categories, added them together, and described the resulting US$123.77 million as “loans left by Peter Obi.” That is an incorrect application of public-sector accounting.
The eight facilities identified were primarily World Bank and IFAD development programs negotiated by the Federal Government, with participating states receiving access to the funds through subsidiary arrangements. They were not conventional commercial loans that I personally secured during my tenure.
This does not suggest that Anambra had no repayment responsibilities; rather, each facility must be examined in light of its approval, effectiveness, drawdown, and repayment record.
The clearest contradiction appears in the government’s own figures. It states that the original facilities amounted to approximately US$123.77 million and that US$92.35 million remained outstanding in June 2026. However, the DMO’s published records showed Anambra’s total external debt at approximately US$18 million when I began my tenure in March 2006, about US$30 million in March 2014, when I left office, and approximately US$45.15 million as of 31 December 2014, nine months after my departure.
The Anambra State Government must therefore clarify how a state whose recorded external debt was about US$30 million in March 2014 and US$45.15 million in December 2014 could supposedly have inherited US$123.77 million from Peter Obi, who left office in March of that same year.

Saying that Peter Obi is challenging someone who became a professor at 38 is a very funny argument.
At least you are not talking to Atiku, you are talking to Obi, and we will always pull the records and compare properly.
Obi became the Chairman of a Commercial Bank at the age of 34.
Now, here is my challenge to y’all, i can name somebody from Nigeria that became a Professor at 32.
I dare any of you comparing Obi to Soludo to point out any Nigerian that became the chairman of a commercial Bank at the age of 36- let’s add 2extra years to make it possible to find, maybe-
I’ll wait.

I’m glad PO has replied you!
APC, you can’t have anything against His Excellency Peter Obi. No matter how hard you try, you cannot erase the respect, admiration, and love Nigerians have for this man.
Soludo, you cannot ever, in this life, be as respected, revered, and loved by Nigerians as Peter Obi.
Na jealousy dey do you 😂!
You can say whatever you want, but you cannot manufacture the kind of respect Peter Obi has earned over the years.
PO has spoken. Now bring the evidence.
Peter Obi is Coming!

So I went on Nairaland.
I searched “Tinubu”. I also searched “Obi”.
Since they were both governors. I wanted to see Media footprint of who they were and what they represented Pre-2022.
Here is a screenshot. First 2 is for Tinubu. Last 2 is for Peter Obi.
Jan 26/2027. You’ll have to choose 1 of these 2 to lead Nigeria.
Who are you choosing?!

This is why Soludo is pained. He hasn’t recovered from this heart attack. He was addressing Ndi Anambra when Peter Obi entered the hall, & the room erupted !!
Chukwuma actually thought that the crowd was shouting because he, Soludo, had come on stage. He was speechless when he finally discovered that the rapturous applause was actually for the august visitor, My President.
Soludo na customer. Peter Obi go clear Anambra & leave Isuanioma in Aguata Local Government for educated illiterate to manage.

AN OPEN CHALLENGE OF CERTIFICATE INTEROGATION FOR ALL PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATES IN THE 2027 ELECTION...... The Peter Obi's Example.
No Objection to Legitimate Scrutiny of My Certificates
My attention has been drawn to reports circulating on social media concerning a legal action by an individual or group seeking Certified True Copies (CTCs) of my Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy, awarded to me in 1984 by the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), as well as other academic records and credentials relating to my admission into the University.
I wish to state clearly that I have absolutely no objection to the release of these records.
I respectfully request that the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, within the limits permitted by law, make available, upon legitimate request, my academic certificates, records, and other official documents relating to my admission and studies at the University. I equally have no objection to other educational institutions, within and outside Nigeria, which I attended, making my academic records available in accordance with applicable laws and procedures.
I believe strongly in transparency and accountability, particularly for those who seek the privilege of public office. Public scrutiny must, however, be fair, lawful, and applied consistently to everyone who seeks to lead our nation.
As a presidential candidate seeking the trust of Nigerians to lead our country, I welcome legitimate public interest in my background, qualifications, and record. I am prepared to subject myself to the level of scrutiny that should reasonably be expected of anyone seeking the highest office in our country. Those who seek to lead must be willing to demonstrate, through both their words and actions, that they have nothing to conceal from the people they aspire to serve.
In that same spirit, I encourage every presidential candidate to make their educational qualifications and relevant records available for legitimate public scrutiny. Doing so should not be regarded as an inconvenience or an attack. Rather, it is an opportunity to strengthen public confidence, promote accountability, and rebuild the trust of Nigerians in those who seek to govern them.
Leadership must reflect the values we expect from the society we hope to build. If we desire a Nigeria founded on transparency, integrity, accountability, and respect for institutions, those values must begin with those who seek to lead it.
I therefore welcome the scrutiny of my academic background and remain committed to the principle that those who ask Nigerians for their trust must also be willing to earn that trust through openness and accountability.
A New Nigeria is POssible. -PO
The same Soludo today is claiming a different thing just to smear the image and diminish the political profile of Mr Peter Obi.

The Politics of 'Gbewudani': Godfatherism, Puppetry, and Subservience in Nigeria
In Nigeria’s political vocabulary, new words frequently emerge to describe old pathologies. The latest addition, Gbewudani, has moved from a fiery television debate to a broader metaphor for Nigerian political patronage. At its core, the "Politics of Gbewudani" represents the system of absolute subservience where public officers behave less like independent executives and more like handpicked puppets—obligated to "hold the shirt" of the godfather who installed them. [1, 2]
This dynamic is not a fluke; it is the structural engine driving much of Nigeria's governance paralysis. [1]
The Architecture of the Godfather and the 'Gbewudani'
Godfatherism in Nigeria is fundamentally a commercial enterprise disguised as political mentorship. Political godfathers act as gatekeepers. They possess the financial muscle, grassroots machinery, and state-backed connections necessary to secure party tickets and manipulate electoral outcomes. [1, 2, 3, 4]
However, this support is never an act of altruism. It is an investment with high expected returns. The conditions of sponsorship demand that the chosen candidate—the "godson"—concede their constitutional autonomy to the godfather. [1, 2, 3, 4]
Dimension
The Political Godfather
The Subservient 'Godson' (Gbewudani)
Primary Role
Political gatekeeper and financier
Placeholder executive or lawmaker
Source of Power
Control over party structures and state resources
Derived authority dependent on absolute loyalty
Core Expectation
Financial returns, patronage appointments, and policy vetoes
Compliance and protection of the godfather's empire
The Mechanics of Subservience
When a politician accepts the role of a Gbewudani, their priorities immediately shift away from the electorate. Good governance requires transparency and institutional independence, but the godfather-godson relationship relies on neopatrimonialism—where public resources are diverted to satisfy informal private networks. [1, 2]
1Financial Rent-Seeking: A significant portion of state allocations or internally generated revenue is often funneled back to the godfather to repay "campaign debts". [1]
2Cabinet Imposition: The Gbewudani is rarely allowed to select a cabinet based on merit. Instead, commissioners, advisers, and heads of agencies are handpicked by the godfather to ensure the executive is surrounded by loyal watchers. [1, 2, 3]
3The Loss of Dignity: Public subservience becomes a requirement. Public officers are expected to defend their benefactors even at the expense of their own professional and moral standing. [1]
When the Shirt Tears: The Inevitable Clash
The fatal flaw in the politics of subservience is that it is structurally unstable. While a candidate may act as a compliant placeholder to acquire power, the absolute authority of a constitutional office (such as a state governor) is intoxicating. [1, 2, 3]
Historically and contemporaneously across Nigeria—from older battles in Anambra and Kwara to modern disputes in Rivers State—the script remains identical. Once the Gbewudani attempts to assert executive independence, allocate resources outside the godfather's circle, or build an independent political base, the godfather retaliates. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
Because the relationship was built on transactional obedience rather than shared ideology, the breakdown frequently triggers severe governance paralysis, state assembly impeachment plots, and political instability.[1, 2]
The Cost to the Nation
The persistence of this puppetry explains why Nigeria's democratic development remains stunted. When leadership is brokered rather than earned, meritocracy suffers. Competent individuals who refuse to pledge absolute fealty to a single individual are systematically locked out of the political space. [1, 2, 3, 4]
Ultimately, the citizens pay the highest price. As long as public officials remain subservient to political godfathers

"Tinubu, what is your real name and age?" - Reno Omokri
Nigerians have dug up an old tweet by Reno Omokri in which he questioned President Tinubu’s age and argued that Tinubu was hiding his primary and secondary education because revealing them would expose the “lies” surrounding his real age and name.
Fast-forward to today, same Reno is contracted to vigorously defend Tinubu’s age.
A classic example of what a political appointment can do to one’s principles.
