COP28 officially ended almost a day later than scheduled.
Sultan Al Jaber, #COP28 president, had said he intended to close discussions by “11am at the latest” on Tuesday, December 12.
But seasoned COP-goers know they rarely finish on time.
COP28 ranks 13th in overrunning COPs.
