"WFH kills productivity" is a comforting myth for landlords and nostalgia merchants, not a fact.
The data is stubborn:
• Stanford (Bloom et al.):
Hybrid work increases or maintains productivity while boosting retention and job satisfaction → nber.org/papers/w28711
• Microsoft Work Trend Index: Knowledge workers report higher focus, efficiency, and output at home → microsoft.com/worklab/work-t…
• UK ONS:
Most remote workers say they’re as productive or more productive than in-office → ons.gov.uk/employmentandlabo…
WFH cuts dead time, reduces burnout, widens the talent pool, lowers emissions, and improves wellbeing — without sacrificing results. The “return to office” push isn’t about productivity. It’s about protecting commercial real estate and commuter-era economics.
Modern work optimizes output, not attendance theater.
Productivity ≠ presence.
Results > rituals.
Flexibility is competitive advantage.

Wowww. @NikonUSA @UKNikon buying @RED_Cinema. I had to go for a walk after reading. Absolutely wild.

IMO, It would be great if the US government had something like the UK's Question Time on national TV. Feels like an actual semblance of democratic inquiry. Pretty cool whether it results in anything or not.
What a Legend.

"Wouldn't say a pay cut cause I've never made $11 mil in my career so still most have ever made & still has me at second highest paid RB. It matched up w/market, & I didn't want to be greedy."
