Dear black people. There are still an estimated 7 million black slaves in Africa today proving that you are the greatest slave traders of them all. White people were slaves too but we don't cry about it .

An increase to £13.20p/h equates to a minimum wage of £27,456, based on a 40 hour week.
Once you factor in employers NI and basic pension contributions, the MINIMUM cost to hire a 21 year old for a company would be £31,461.
This is before you factor in any overarching business costs like office space, laptops, phone, software, training, support staff, vehicles etc.
This is going to be devastating to SME's who cant put together a simple 12 month budget without the goalposts being moved & their margins squeezed.
It'll also be catastrophic to youngsters opportunities because businesses will simply not be able to afford to hire them.
What's also incredible is that anything above £50,270 is seen as 'high earnings' in the UK and is taxed at 40%!
We are governed by financially and economically illiterate morons.
This will not end well.

Actually it’s £212,500 per person the government spends on homeless people.
The government has doubled the homelessness budget to £850m. On any given night there’s 4000 rough sleepers.
So there’s £580 per person per night being thrown at this problem.
Blind Freddie could solve this problem. The most expensive solution would be…
Taxi to hotel = £20
Hotel room = £150
Meals = £30
New clothing = £50
Counselling session = £25
Manager/coordinator = £25
Total £300 per person per night x 4000 people x 365 nights = £438m.
My solution pays retail cost for cabs, accommodation, food, clothing, support and management and is £412M cheaper.
Can the government do anything??
‘That’s £190,000 per person…’
‘We could buy them all a house!”
@NickFerrariLBC runs the numbers on the government's pledge to end rough sleeping by Christmas.

Nicely said by Andrew Neil.
Labour have made Britain a laughing stock and are putting our safety at risk.
Labour’s incompetence and economic mismanagement will bankrupt us all.
We must cut benefits and invest in defence and tax cuts.

"Unchecked, anti-social behaviour blights our communities."
Correct. Ask Braintree.
A year of Thursdays outside a church hall. Flags, cameras, women saying they no longer feel safe, a nurse assaulted, a woman assaulted. And the establishment's answer was to call them far-right.
You never lacked the powers, Shabana. You lacked the will. The pensioners had neither power nor tweets. They just turned up every week and took the abuse.
Unchecked, anti-social behaviour blights our communities. But it is not inevitable and I won't accept it.
For too long, we have lacked the powers we need to deal with this problem properly. From today, that changes: authorities will be able to take tough action against these offenders.
This delivers on a commitment we made to the British people in our manifesto. And, most importantly, those who make life a misery for others will now face the consequences of their actions.

Nonsense, Ben. The CO2 impact comes because oil is burned, not because it comes from the North Sea. The same amount will burn with or without Rosebank. The fuel consumption of my car remains the same, no matter where the oil comes from.
it’s estimated emissions from oil at rosebank will cause 57,000 deaths+£114 billion in damage so of course the bbc has written a light hearted human interest story with barely a mention of the catastrophic impact drilling there would have. utter disgrace. bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cqy8…

Dear everyone in Britain, ( even you illegals)
Just so you understand. The poppy is for the boys who never got to grow old. For the boys who were still somebody’s baby, brother, uncle or father. More than 600,000 of them.
It doesn’t matter if you support war, hate your country, think you are a woman (even though you are a man). It doesn’t matter which God you pray to, or if you pray to none at all.
It doesn’t matter who you vote for, what climate narrative you believe, or whether you believe Israel should exist or not!
The poppy isn’t for you!
It’s for those who came before. Those who fought for your right to be weird, annoying or even foreign.
The poppy is how we say thank you. Thank you for giving us time, peace and choice.
And attempting to ban our poppy by declaring it politically divisive isn’t a move towards freedom. It is an act of suppression. Understand that.
The poppy is about love and loss. For you!
So stick your rainbow flags and every other flag where the sun doesn’t shine and just wear your poppy. Those boys did not die as symbols. They died for you!
Did you know that poppies grew across the battlefields where so many fell? As though even the land refused to forget the blood once given to defend it.
So the poppy is for them. For those who came before us and paid in youth, in hope, in breath, in blood, so that we might have the freedom to be arseholes.
So that we might even have the freedom to fight over the ridiculous, the inconsequential and the insane.
Revere it, celebrate it and wear it. The very least you can do is that.
Best
The ordinary people.

The country is already governed by thicko's like Rayner, who left school pregnant with no educational attainments and boy does it show. She is as thick as two planks, as she so aptly demonstrates here in this interview and she is a Labour MINISTER God help us all
This is one of the most blatant examples of gaslighting you’ll ever see.
This clip sums up the Labour Party. It sums up Angela Rayner. And, frankly, it sums up too most politicians.
Laura Kuenssberg asks Rayner about Andy Burnham opening the door to a return to freedom of movement. He’s started the debate by talking about it.
Kuenssberg: “The Labour manifesto in 2024 said in black and white ‘there will be no return to freedom of movement’. You stood on that manifesto. Andy Burnham promised to stick to that manifesto. He’s breaking that promise, isn’t he?”
Then this from Rayner: “No he isn’t, because he’s been really clear that this Parliament, that manifesto, we are clear we are not reopening that debate.”
Unbelievable. Even by her standards.
Kuenssberg put her right immediately: “He’s literally just reopened this debate. It’s exactly what’s just happened.”
She denies the debate has been reopened in the same breath as it is being reopened. They will say anything, no matter how obviously contradictory.
We watch car crash after car crash from Labour ministers, yet they keep rising in the polls. No wonder the country is in such a mess.

Almost everything Burnham says in this piece is a lie.
- We didn't get a "harder" Brexit than what was mentioned in the Referendum. We left with the most comprehensive trade agreement the EU has ever signed.
- The small boats crisis didn't emerge because of losing "returns agreements". While we were in the EU we were a net-, recipient of illegal immigrants from these agreements, the small boats crisis has emerged because of a global surge in illegal immigration and pull-factors like our human rights laws.
- Immigration within the EU was not "revolving door". It has been permanent, and significantly more than estimated at the time. Over 6 million people have come here on the EU Settlement scheme, double estimated.
The Prime Minister is dishonest and cynical, planning to hand border control to the EU, and likely pay them British taxpayers money while he's at it. – at Merton, London
Exclusive from @benclatworthy
Britain is holding talks with the EU about a potential return to free movement and other options for closer alignment
The Times has been told that the UK is discussing a series of options about the future relationship which are due to be unveiled within weeks
Andy Burnham plans to set out his vision for closer ties with the bloc, including the potential of rejoining the union, and have a “conversation with the British public about our long-term future”
The options that will be presented are being discussed with officials in Brussels to ensure both sides would ultimately be able to agree
One source said all such routes would be “discussed using diplomatic channels” before any “big bang” launch of the options on the table

We now see the full extent of preplanning and empire-building that went into the United Nations' global warming campaign.
It was all behind the scenes. Today, the UN has a workforce of roughly 190,000 and an annual budget of $3.45 billion. It has become a vast self-managing, self perpetuating bureaucracy - arguably the largest non-governmental network in the world. The UN had been laying the groundwork for an environmental crisis for decades before it was finally announced in 1988.
The UN took control of the World Meteorological Organization in 1951, transforming it into a specialised UN agency. The WMO operates with an annual budget of approximately $138.7 million and has a staff of 350 to 400.
The WMO bridges the gap between raw meteorological data, international political agendas and global news media - linking thousands of land stations, ocean buoys, aircraft and satellites. While its stated role is to share critical weather and water data, this massive infrastructure has been effectively co-opted into a public relations framework.
Consequently, the world has been bombarded with weather hysteria for almost 40 years. Mainstream news outlets routinely prioritise speculative, worst-case climate models over empirical observations - like 'rain bombs' - maintaining a permanent state of crisis designed to shape public compliance.
The information gathering agency, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, runs the scientific arm. It operates with a core secretariat of just 15 staff members and an annual budget of roughly $12.5 million. The IPCC was established 38 years ago, ostensibly as a neutral body to gather objective scientific information on climate.
In reality, the IPCC became the driving force behind the greatest environmental and social upheaval in modern history. Highly politicised from its inception, it was founded entirely by UN agencies - the WMO and the UN Environment Programme. This gave the UN absolute control over the global climate agenda and funded what has become the largest propaganda campaign in history.
The UN has also run annual fund raising COP summits around the world for 30 years. They have become junkets for the rich and privileged.
The IPCC did not recruit independent scientific staff; instead, its administrative apparatus actively sponsors and selects studies that supported the carbon dioxide hypothesis. Research raising questions or doubts are minimised or discarded. Critics find their studies starved of funding and publishers, while some even faced threats to their academic tenures.
Local weather outlets and national agencies now operate inside an ecosystem heavily influenced by these overarching, high-alarm targets, broadcasting continuous warnings of 'global boiling', catastrophic sea-level rise, and 'Code Red for Humanity' - with UN leadership acting as the chief amplifier. This environment birthed foundational, highly charged studies designed to lock in future warming projections.
For decades, the UN promoted only extreme scenarios. A prime example is the IPCC's reliance on high-end warming trajectories - such as projections warning of up to a 5.5-degree temperature rise - predictions so extreme that even mainstream scientists have increasingly conceded they are implausible.
Armed with a crisis of its own making, the UN called for the rapid dismantling of hydrocarbon fuels - coal, oil, and natural gas - the very energy sources that lifted humanity out of stagnation and powered the Industrial Revolution. Almost every aspect of modern civilisation, from transport networks to industrial manufacturing, relies entirely on these dense, inexpensive and reliable energy sources.
Climate management bears no relation to the UN’s foundational charter of resolving international conflict; it's a textbook case of bureaucratic mission creep.
The sheer complexity of this UN machinery, combined with an aura of technical authority, is precisely what insulates it from public scrutiny.

May I suggest another round of deeply intrusive self-trepanation?

I think @afneil has already dealt with this lie when it was Starmer peddling it.
“The reason the small boat crisis has arisen is we can’t return people and we have people knowing we can’t.”
The Prime Minister has argued that the arrival of around 213,000 illegal migrants across the Channel was a consequence of Britain leaving the EU.
Small boat crossings were first detected at the end of January 2018, two years before Britain left the EU. The Conservative government at the time declared the situation a “major incident” ⤵️
