and they used Lisbon as the example?
openai just launched an ai that clicks around your computer for you and it's reportedly about half the price of the last one my guess: most people stop paying for the big models for normal work cheap and fast matters more when it's doing 50 small clicks a day would you actually let it use your apps without watching it? 👀

I’ll happily do it for free, but white hats need a level of sanctioned, unfettered model access that no lab has been willing to provide… hence why we have to resort to jailbreaking and abliteration to fulfill our duties if the big labs would stop hoarding the means of white-hatting this would all go a lot faster!

"I could have made this without ai" Yah but you didn't. "I could just copy you and make this with ai" Yah but you're not going to.

Perfectionism is a bullshit excuse for not being motivated. Everyone sucks at the beginning. It's arrogant to think that you'll be any different. This is why someone with half your talent and skill with make 10x as much as you. Because they don't give a shit about something being perfect. They just want results, outcomes, and feedback.

Fun Fact: you can print the entire set of @manacaster_game cards from within the game client! One time payment unlocks the whole thing, digital and physical. Even if Steam screws us AND you both, nobody can take those printed cards from you!
You wouldn’t accept Walmart keeping the right to take back a calculator you bought. Steam’s checkout says it outright: you’re buying a license. GOG gives you an installer nobody can take back. CD Projekt Red has been fighting for game ownership and preservation since 2008.

Project Maya v1.1.29 is here, and it's a big one: MiniMax-M3.1-Flash now runs on Maya. That makes three frontier open models you can run at home on your own GPUs: GLM-5.3-Flash, DeepSeek-V4.1-Flash and now MiniMax-M3.1-Flash, a 428B model with 23B active per token and up to a 1M context. MiniMax gets its own engine, built by @needmorevram. We brought it up to the same standard as GLM and DeepSeek before shipping it: - Runs on NVIDIA from V100 up, on Linux and Windows - Fits itself to your PC: the setup picks the context your memory can hold, and the engine plans VRAM and RAM instead of failing - A compact cache by default, so long contexts take half the memory with no loss in quality - Pictures, tool calls and every one of MiniMax's thinking levels, with its own recommended settings out of the box - The vision tower stays off your GPU until you send a picture, so the VRAM goes to the model Huge thanks to @needmorevram, and to everyone who tests, reports and contributes to Maya. This is what community open source looks like. Next up (WiP): our own Maya GGUF quants of MiniMax-M3.1-Flash, small enough for a 128 GB PC. Link in the reply 👇

Maybe I got lucky that I'm a jack of all trades, a generalist, or if you want to get pretentious about it, a polymath. Or maybe my father recognized, 40 years ago, that it would be beneficial for me to know how to engineer software AND know how to install fiberglass reinforced plastic in a commercial restaurant. Hard to say. What I do know is that the lion does not care if the gazelle cries when he eats her. Humans do not care about other humans losing their jobs. Not to technology or immigration or anything else. They never have and they never will. We are competing genes. Nature is a bitch. It's always changing. Adapt or perish.
Sure she might be a bit extreme but she is correct that if you find your jobs and skill-set you were part of for decades vanish the next day, this is a reasonable reaction Disparaging her for being human is retarded

You should have moved onto the next one. Marketing a failed game for a year is crazy work. Most games fail. Buy as many lottery tickets as you can. The decision space is too complex to nail down a formula. It's mostly luck. See my post here: xitter.cf/SyntheticBeef/status/2…
To anyone planning to build games in 2027: Don’t. We’re still trying to market the ones we built in 2025.

this tweet is the ultimate ball knowledge display btw

the joke, of course, is that "knowing ball" / "ball knower" as applied to arbitrary domains coins "ball" as a generic object of knowledge which is deeper and more mechanistic and less fact-localized than belief (closer to "understanding"), bypassing the gettier luck problem
