This my entire interview with Daniel, and IDF Special Forces veteran who lives in Tel Aviv. You have to hear how Israelis are living, how they get through the day without focusing on their potential death, why Israel is in this to the end, and how to get three little kids from their beds to the bomb shelter in 75 seconds. It's fascinating. iheart.com/podcast/88-the-ma…

A word of advice to the Pope. The walls around the Vatican were ordered by Pope Leo IV and finished around 852 after Muslim Arab raiders sacked St. Peter's Basilica. Do not lecture anyone on walls, immigration, war, or the virtues of Islam.

Your lack of faith in polling data is entirely justified.
Wow. Wedgewood Polls just released a bombshell. Westwood was created as a hoax to expose how bankrupt the polling industry is. Its fake election polls were cited by the New York Times, FiftyPlusOne, and MSNOW. There was no vetting. Its polls were complete fabrications.

$260.7 billion in welfare and other fraud schemes ripping off the federal government has been uncovered since January 2025. Makes you wonder what the bureaucracy is actually good for. If anything.

Capitalism has a win condition. Socialism does not. Here's why, explained so simply a 10-year-old could get it. It starts with a book written in 1944 by an Austrian economist named Friedrich Hayek: The Road to Serfdom. Imagine a classroom of 30 kids. One day the teacher says: "From now on, I decide what everyone eats for lunch, which games you play at recess, and who sits next to whom. It's fairer that way." First problem: the teacher doesn't know what you like. You hate carrots. Your friend is allergic to peanuts. Lucas wants to play football, Emma wants to draw. 30 kids, 30 different wishes. Nobody can know all of that, not even the smartest teacher on Earth. Hayek called this the knowledge problem. The information needed to run an economy is scattered across millions of heads, and it can't be gathered in one office. Second problem: the kids start fighting. "Why does he get the window seat?" "Why football again?" Before, everyone just chose for themselves. Now every choice is a fight, because every choice is made for everyone. Third problem: the class can't agree on a plan, so someone says "we need one person in charge who just decides." This is Hayek's key insight. Planning doesn't fail because planners are evil. A plan needs everyone to agree on the same goals, and free people never agree on everything. So the plan needs force to work. Fourth problem, and it's the scariest one: who wants that job? The kind kid doesn't want it, because the kind kid doesn't want to force 29 people to eat carrots. The job attracts the one who likes giving orders and doesn't mind punishing those who disobey. Hayek wrote a whole chapter on this, called "Why the Worst Get on Top." It doesn't happen by accident. It happens by selection. Here's the trap. When the person who controls your lunch also controls your job, your home, your shop and your newspaper, they control your whole life. You can't say no, because there's nowhere else to go. Controlling the economy doesn't mean controlling one part of life. It means controlling the means to every goal you have. That's the road to serfdom. Nobody votes for a dictator. People vote for "someone should fix this," then for "give them more power to fix it," and one day they wake up with no one left to say no to. The USSR, Maoist China, Cambodia, North Korea, Cuba, Venezuela. These are different countries with different cultures and languages, and the story has the same ending every time. When a script produces the same ending every time, it isn't bad luck. It's the script. Now capitalism. Back to the classroom. Instead of one teacher deciding everything, every kid can trade. You give me your carrots, I give you my apple, and we both walk away happier. Nobody needs to know what everyone wants, because prices do that job. A price is a message telling millions of strangers what's scarce and what's wanted, with no one in charge. That's the win condition. In capitalism, you get rich by making something other people freely choose to buy, so your success depends on serving others. In a planned system, you get ahead by pleasing whoever holds power. One rewards usefulness. The other rewards obedience. And this isn't theory. Two centuries ago, almost every human being was extremely poor. In 1990, about 38% of humanity still lived in extreme poverty. Today it's under 10%. More than a billion people escaped it in a single generation. It happened when China, India, Vietnam and South Korea opened up to markets, trade and private enterprise. The largest reduction in poverty in human history came from letting people trade. So why do so many people hate capitalism? Because what they hate usually isn't capitalism. They hate the bank that got bailed out with their taxes while they lost their house. They hate the giant company that writes the regulations so no startup can compete with it. They hate rent they can't afford because building new homes has been made nearly impossible. They hate the lobbyist who gets a subsidy while the small business owner drowns in paperwork. Look closely at each one, and you'll find a state handing out privileges. A bailout is not the market. The market would have let the bank fail. A regulation written by incumbents is not competition. It's protection from competition. None of this is capitalism. It's cronyism, which is what happens when businesses stop competing for customers and start competing for politicians. People see the symptom and blame the wrong cause. They say "capitalism failed" and ask for more state. That gives more power to the same people who created the problem, and it puts us right back on Hayek's road. The answer to bad capitalism isn't less freedom. It's less privilege. That means fewer bailouts, fewer protected incumbents, fewer permits, and more people allowed to build, compete and trade. Capitalism has a win condition: make things people want. Socialism has an end condition: someone has to be in charge. And history keeps showing us who ends up in that chair.
Capitalism has a win condition. Socialism does not.

If you're about to vote Democrat, read this. Here's why socialism doesn't work, explained to a 10-year-old. You're in a class of 30 students. One kid works like crazy and gets an A. Another does nothing and gets an F. The teacher decides that's unfair and gives everyone the class average: a C. The A student stops working. Why bother if it changes nothing? The F student keeps doing nothing. Why work when you get a C for free? Next year the class average drops to a D. Then lower. Then everyone is failing. The teacher doesn't get it. He thinks the problem is that students don't show enough solidarity. So he punishes those who don't try hard enough. He watches everyone. He decides who studies what. He bans switching classes. That's exactly what happened. Every time. In every country. USSR, China, Cuba, Venezuela, North Korea, Cambodia, Ethiopia, East Germany. Same result. Every time. Socialism punishes those who produce and rewards those who don't. Eventually nobody produces. And when nobody produces, the government uses force to make people work. It's not a bug. It's the design. Two-thirds of Democrats now have a positive view of socialism. Even Fetterman, a sitting Democratic senator, says the word should be unacceptable in his own party. Read the menu before you order.

Everything on this pamphlet is everything my child experienced in her 6th grade classroom… *Maybe you’re trans. *If your parents don’t support this — find new “trusted adults.” *Maybe you should reject your parents or emancipate. *Connect with this “youth org” — We’ll help you be your true self behind your parents’ backs. We’re your family now. *Maybe you need hormones and surgeries. Let us help you get them. They add: **If you can’t medicalize in your state ... we’ll help you get to a new state (Colorado.) If this is what they send your children TO YOUR HOME … Imagine the conversations they’re having at school behind your back. Yes, this is real. It happened to my family. This exact trans grooming playbook almost claimed my little girl. Be vigilant. We must stop this assault on our children.
A close friend in Texas just received this pamphlet in the mail addressed to HIS CHILDREN. It targets kids who think they may be transgender and points them to resources on how to: a) LEAVE THEIR PARENTS b) How to travel OUT OF STATE for trans care c) How be EMANCIPATED from their parents at 16 d) Education on hormones and SURGERY ...this was sent to HIS KIDS DIRECTLY

So if all the reports are true, Ilhan Omar lied about her age to make it seem like she naturalized through her father, who apparently she lied about being a citizen in the first place, then used her illegitimate citizenship to marry her brother so that he could inherit her fake naturalization before remarrying and starting a fraudulent winery that sold empty bottles of wine?

They still don't understand Gen X in the workplace. We don't want free pizza parties. We don't want mandatory team-building retreats. We don't want motivational speeches about being a family. And we definitely don't want another company-branded coffee mug. You know what we want? 💰 Pay us what we're worth. 🏖️ Let us take our vacation days without guilt. 🏡 Respect our time outside of work. 🤝 Trust us to do the job we were hired to do. 📵 Stop expecting us to be available 24/7. We're not looking for an office to become our second home. We have lives, families, responsibilities, and better things to do than pretend a pizza party makes up for being underpaid and overworked. Pay us fairly, respect our boundaries, and let us get on with our lives. That's the perk. That's the culture. That's it. 😂
