re: the US uni admissions essay. it really strikes me on how at every single level of US academia you’re expected to curate a “narrative”. it’s not enough u want to research this strain of fungi. you need to have some weird community connection to it.

Some are shitting on this Box Office result. You come off as really ignorant and distasteful. This film was thrown away by a CEO whose only intention was to balance the books and make WB more desirable for a sale. If you stay through the credits you will see the hundreds if not thousands of people that worked on this film and were basically told your time meant nothing. Ketchup Entertainment deserves huge praise for having faith in the film, High audience and certified scores show that this film was worth seeing and saving. It’s a delightful movie. #CoyotevsACME
