🇪🇸🗣️ Lamine Yamal: "Today, football needs players like Ronaldinho, Neymar, Isco, Vinícius Jr, Benzema and Cherki." 🤩 "I never saw Thierry Henry play live, for example, but from the videos I've watched, I liked him a lot too." "The problem I see with young players today is that from the age of four, they enter an academy. And there they tell you: 'The full-back must receive and pass to the winger, the winger must pass to the midfielder, and everyone must defend and attack.'" "But when I played in the street, the rule was simple: whoever scored two goals won, and the loser was out. There was fun and there was creativity. I regret that people don't enjoy watching football as much anymore. Before, I used to watch a lot more matches." ⚽️ 🚨 𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗥: He's still 18-years old.

I think it's really unfortunate Wemby's French portion of his interviews don't blow up more. Yes, his thinking doesn't completely change when he speaks in English. But we see and understand Wemby a lot better when he's speaking in his primary language

Victor Wembanyama (in French) is asked what he is looking to improve on over the summer: 🇫🇷: Victor, after these Finals, what do you want to improve the most this summer? On the court or off the court, what area of improvement have you identified for yourself before next season? 👽: I'm going to work even harder, obviously, to be even more durable and, above all, to keep a fresh mind and maintain control of the game at all times. That's what really stands out about Jalen Brunson, for example. There are too many moments—and it doesn't come from bad intentions—but there are too many moments where I'm passive, where I don't have the control over the game that I'd like to have, and it ends up costing us. #GoSpursGo #PorVida

I swear for as long as I can remember the old head tough guys would rant “the NBA is so soft. they’re all too buddy buddy. where did all the rivalries go” Wemby comes along slinging beef & making imaginary enemies, it’s been nothing but those same guys crying their eyes out about it. He’s everything you claim to miss from the 90s man
