Sometimes, a fallen tree reveals more than you expect. CEO Marc Sale is roughly 1 km northeast of the Pettigrew shaft, where the team has taken him to another area identified through soil sampling. And, quite fortuitously, a fallen tree has opened up a new window into the geology. With its roots pulling back the overburden, the ground beneath has been exposed, revealing intense shearing and quartz veining - exactly the kind of geological features that can make an exploration team stop and take a closer look.
