One thing that really stood out to me during the 2020 BLM riots was how much of the coverage ignored the many people, predominantly minorities, who had their lives and livelihoods destroyed. Their stories never fully got told.

Another allegation that has floated around about Ilhan Omar -- and one that might be gaining some traction -- is that a false birth certificate was used in 2000 when she became a naturalized U.S. citizen. She claims she received derivative naturalized citizenship when her father became a naturalized citizen. That would only be true if she was 17 years old. If she had already reached the age of 18, she would not have been eligible for derivative naturalization -- she would have been required to seek naturalization on her own in a different process. If a false birth certificate was used, and she was in fact 18, then she obtained her naturalized citizenship via a false representation and it is void ab initio -- meaning from the moment it was granted. The consequence of that is that she has NEVER been a citizen, and is now inadmissible and subject to removal as an illegal alien.

Worth noting that the human shield strategy would be pointless if they believed Israel was willing to just target indiscriminately. The only reason to do this is because Hamas/PIJ believe that having a child act as a human shield makes an Israeli action less likely.
