At United, Emery would be head coach working alongside Christopher Vivell, in charge of recruitment. Both report to Jason Wicox the Director of Football, who reports to CEO Omar Berrada, who reports to Jim Ratcliff, who reports to Glazers. At Villa... Emery is the boss.
Unai Emery to Manchester United like i said he is my number 1 candidate and today he proved why. Today he dismantled an unbeaten City side with tactical control and a Jackson brace another statement win over the elite. He took Villa from relegation battles to Europa League winners and Champions League regulars, maximising every squad and beating bigger clubs on smarter spend. Clear identity, player development, big-game results. United need exactly that proven structure and authority without a blank cheque. After today, no one fits better. Get him in.

Difference between Man City & Man Utd over last decade is about £2bn. Not just the extra £1bn that City illegally pumped in, its the £1bn the Glazer family siphoned out of Utd in dividends. I know some Utd fans think Emery is the solution. Its not. Your club is f**ked from top

Has the film industry woken up to the idea that the best way of addressing "toxic masculinity" in stories isn't simply to swap the genders of the lead roles (e.g female Ghost Busters/ Ocean's 11 etc) and think "that'll do it" but to produce more interesting stories about men?

Where were the pundits and football experts who now say Unai Emery is the best manager in England when Carrick was nominated for Manager of the Year & Emery was ignored? Only months ago. You were applauding Carrick. FRAUDS! Emery is Aston Villa. You dont get it yet. Utd is dead

The obession with Man Utd fans "getting" Unai Emery to Old Trafford is laughable and deluded. Your club is f**ked from the top. No manager is saving your club until the ownership changes. And good managers like Emery know this. They choose the owners, not the club or its history

I don't care if you like Sally Rooney's books or not. This is about the UK effectively banning an author's work because she is vocal in her support for the Palestinian people. I don't care whether you personally like her. Nor should you. It's about censorship. It's unhinged.

Yesterday, I watched Naza. I did not go to learn what had happened in Gaza. I am from there. I am one of the victims of this war, one of its witnesses, and one of those who have paid a price that will not end when the war does. I did not need a film to tell me how entire neighborhoods were wiped away, how residential buildings were bombed with the people still inside them, or how families were forced to leave their homes without knowing where they were supposed to go. Nor did I need anyone to tell me about the famine. I lived through it twice, with all its humiliations, down to the smallest detail. Or about the starving people who were killed while trying to reach what were so absurdly called “food distribution centers.” I know all of this. I was there. Jake says nobody is planning to see DIGGER twice. Anyone out there seen it more than once? Or would see it again?

The difference between accepting that a door may never open and forgetting that you were ever waiting outside it! This is the unexpected freedom and wisdom that comes with "enough time". There's something wonderfully ordinary about that. And wonderfully human.

DIGGER is a cinematic feast. You simply can't consume it all in one sitting. Pitty the starving fools whose empty stomachs are so deprived and whose taste has finally gone. They feed on slop and are unable to delight in the flavours and textures of this exquisite experience.
