Lot of people who can’t find Brazil on a map have very strong opinions about this election. Yet, the handful of people I follow who know Brazil well, including @irbezek (who publicly put the odds in Lula’s favor on a podcast), are like “yeah, this election makes sense”

BRL futures after Lula wins: -10%. Apparently the market has just discovered Lula. Small detail: he has been Brazil’s president for the last four years. Overreaction? #Brazil #BRL #oatt #soybeans #corn

MAJOR MONITORING: New satellite imagery seems to indicate that there IS a fire raging along the East-West Pipeline. Just yesterday, Ansar Allah (Houthi) spokesman Yahya Saree stated that they had struck pumping stations and the pipeline itself in recent drone and/or missile strikes. Given the general credibility and track record of Yahya’s claims in recent months, it is “more likely than not” that the East-West has been struck. While this imagery continues to build the case that it was struck, I am not yet confident enough based upon the available evidence to state with CERTAINTY that it has been struck. “Big if true”

NEW: Multiple images and videos are emerging that indicate that Ansar Allah (Houthis) have struck facilities at the Riyadh/Dammam Highway, and the Duba/Tabuk Highway earlier today. The last 24 hours saw a flurry of early warning reports (finally) issued by Saudi Arabia for incoming missiles and drones that targeted Riyadh, Najran, and Wadi al-Dawasir. These attacks were launched by AA in direct response to the Saudi targeting of the Yemeni capital of Sana’a. General rule of thumb? If the Ansar Allah spokesman Yahya Saree announces in his daily report of Saudi strikes that Sana’a has been struck… Ansar Allah is going to attack Riyadh and Saudi energy infrastructure.

Typhoon Champi reaches Taiwan 🇹🇼 TODAY 👇
Strong winds & rough seas have battered much of Taiwan since Thursday as Typhoon Champi approaches. Huge waves pounded the coasts of Taitung & Hualien counties in the east, and on Friday morning powerful surf knocked a large crane into the sea at Fugang Fishing Harbor in Taitung

The Strait of Hormuz omani route is empty today too. Anyone who says more oil is flowing now more than ever isn't based on reality. Unclear why we are seeing fewer tankers crossing.

@MerruXOct 20
This is completely inaccurate. Sat Images shows that Saudi oil flows through the Gulf and vessel crossings via the Strait of Hormuz are both down. UKMTO confirmed the slowdown as well. Furthermore, STS transfers off Fujairah have declined over the past two weeks
