I feel so bad for this streamer omg. Reading this makes me feel better about my enforcement of a βbully the streamer-freeβ community. Iβve gotten a lot of flak for not tolerating people being rude to me in a βjokingβ manner but people canβt seem to comprehend that a community is led by mob mentality, and if people see one guy doing it theyβre likely to do it too. One guy being playfully rude becomes a lot different when itβs being done by 50+ people and it becomes the culture of your community. I would rather die than have a community full of people who donβt respect me enough to acknowledge I have feelings and I donβt regret banning chatters for it in the slightest.
Chatters can be replaced. Donβt let anyone make it so you donβt enjoy being a part of your own community.

I understand some streamers like me have allowed the βbully the streamerβ bit, but this has gone too far, and Iβm regretting my choices. I have seen a few others post about this topic before, but I never expected myself to have to address this publicly.
that being said, can we PLEASE stop invalidating peopleβs feelings? whether itβs excitement or fear, let them feel how they want to feel. let them enjoy their interests. let them be sad once in a while. let them try new ideas. let them be human. please.
