It doesn't rain; it pours. I am also helping a woman fleeing abuse who was denied support from Income Support. These are above and beyond the normal day-to-day supports we at the @coalition4jhr provide(safe transportation, clothing, prescriptions, diapers, etc.). I am trying to help house this woman for a night or two as well.

Yesterday I picked up two sisters, sexually exploited, from northern Alberta after being dumped in the ditch. Today I am trying to get them some food, clothing, and a motel for a couple of nights. Albertans told @UCPCaucus and @ABDanielleSmith: NO to transferring the selection of King’s Bench and Appeal Court judges to provincial governments. NO to abolishing the Senate. So, I met with a number of people at the #yeg Remand Centre who state they were not given an opportunity to vote on Monday. They state there was little to no communication, signage, or consultation.

One of the biggest complaints I get, day in, day out, from the #yeg Remand Centre is the lack of access to medical services. I believe this is a human rights issue. #abpoli
