This morning in Iowa doesn’t happen without the folks who stayed - the ones who stood up when it was darkest and said, “I still have hope.” So many gave up on Iowa -they’re back & we need everyone! But I have a special place in my heart for the ones who never left. We built this.

Rob Sand has won Iowa's race for governor after running a juggernaut campaign focused on restoring balance to government and uniting Iowans across parties.
Decision Desk HQ and NBC called the race in Sand's favor just after 10:14 p.m.

Love @LisaBluder dropping all the @DrakeWBB knowledge on air tonight, and for calling out the entire state of Iowa’s men’s teams for not playing each other. Bring back the #BigFourClassic
Just once I want an end of June email that says “We reached our goal early, just letting you know we don’t need your money, HAGS!”
If anyone was going to become the most widely liked person in the America, we all knew she was going to be from Iowa

Congrats to @CaitlinClark22, the greatest scorer in the history of women’s college basketball! It's been fun watching you and the @IowaWBB team this season.
The Packers missing a field goal to extend their lead in the 4th quarter against the 49ers has been the best part of the Bears playoffs so far.
Obviously this national championship is not determining the best punter in the country @TheIowaHawkeyes

I can’t believe I’m not making this up: this new law literally makes it legal for government officials to hide documents that show waste, fraud, or abuse from the state auditor. 👀

The group following @CaitlinClark22 at John Deere Classic Pro-Am; that is @IowaWBB assistant coach Jan Jensen leading the pack. By my count, Clark is 4 over through 6 holes, has not missed a fairway, and I have lost count how many autographs she has signed.
