Meet Angel. 🤍 This precious soul was found by a Good Samaritan, shivering outside a church in the cold and that is how she received her name. 🥹 When we arrived on scene, she ate, climbed into our car, and curled up on the floor as if she finally felt safe. 😭 After coordinating with our county’s Animal Control Officer and shelter, it was clear she needed immediate help. She refused to get out of the car at the shelter, so we took her directly to the Emergency Room. 🚨🏥 Angel is now receiving pain medications and wound care, and will soon undergo full sedation so the team can properly assess her injuries. It appears she suffered significant burns. We are hoping for the best while preparing for the worst, but what we do know is this: she deserves a life free from abuse, fear, and neglect. She still has a long road ahead, including intensive medical care, and a strict feeding plan to protect her from Refeeding Syndrome. Legally she is not ours yet, but we are making sure she gets everything vet recommended regardless of ownership. Thank you to all our vets who have called and texted and helped with this sweet Angel! Please send this brave, gentle girl all your love, healing thoughts, and good energy. 🤍🙏
