Professional sports streaming (in every league) is a complete and total disaster. Over complicated/too expensive and it is quickly ruining sports. Time to take notes from literally any high school in the country that has started their own stream, often times viewed for free.
Important development from the #mnwild this afternoon:
Through a new distribution partnership with the National Hockey League, FuboTV and Integrated Sports Media, Wild+ is now available to bars and restaurants throughout the Minnesota Wild local broadcast territory.

Addressing the many concerns about listening to Wolves games if you're outside the Twin Cities.
The @Audacy app, @iHeartRadio app & @timberwolves app all currently have geofencing on them. So, if you're more than 75 miles from downtown Minneapolis the games will be "blacked out." This is mandated by the league, it is not a Timberwolves decision.
I know it's frustrating, especially since the Wolves "broadcast territory" includes all/parts of MN, IA, ND, SD, NE, KS & WI -- a significantly larger area.
Solutions...
1) WCCO 830-AM -- Go old school & find a radio. WCCO's nighttime signal booms across the upper Midwest & a good portion of the rest of the country.
2) SiriusXM Sports Pass -- Radio PBP for all NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL & College games for just $5/month or $49/year + 1 month FREE. Here's the link: siriusxm.com/sports-pass-tri…
3) NBA Audio League Pass -- Radio PBP of every team's games all season (including preseason & playoffs) for just $10. Here's the link: payment.nba.com/checkout
Hope that was helpful, thank you for listening.
If anyone invites you to a pumpkin patch or an apple orchard in this weather...........they are not your friend!
ANOTHER DAY OF RECORD SETTING HEAT!
At MSP Airport, the high temperature so far is 90°, which breaks the record high of 85° set in 2015.
In addition, today’s 90° observation is now the latest on record in the Twin Cities. #mnwx

It's #WolvesBack and they're back on WCCO Radio! In a deal just announced, WCCO is thrilled to have Timberwolves back on the air, and streaming on the @Audacy app for the 2026-27 season - it begins Monday, Oct. 5th with a preseason game in Milwaukee.

Plenty of good seats available at the Gophers game today. They could also turn the scoreboard speakers down.

AND THERE IT IS. No team has hit more home runs in International League history, the oldest minor league, league beginning in 1912. @CodyMorissette hits his 12th homer of the season, 11th with the Saints, and our 232nd on the season surpassing the 2021 @OMAStormChasers. Next up the Triple-A record of 258

This morning, at 8:26 a.m., churches in Minneapolis rang their bells in memory of Fletcher Merkel and Harper Moyski, the two students killed in the Annunciation mass shooting one year ago. This is outside of Annunciation Church from WCCO's @MarkFreie:

One year ago, Minnesota was forever changed by a senseless act of violence at Annunciation Catholic Church and School.
Today, we remember Harper. We remember Fletcher. We hold our kids close enough to feel their hearts beat and we move our feet towards peace.
