I’ve officially opened my own StrawPage site, since many other comic fans already have their own. It’s still a work in progress, so don’t mind the initial small amount of content. studio-513.straw.page

As I’ve said before, a Robin TV show starring Tim Drake and Stephanie Brown. I’ve even written a couple scripts for it.

I’m interested what are y’all’s dream marvel or DC project? What Character and Creator would you have?

I have a feeling this is another NJO hater who didn’t actually read the books and just bases their hatred of the series on what they heard from YouTube videos and social media posts.

“What if after the events of Return of the Jedi an army of Cenobites from Hellraiser invaded the galaxy and immediately did a galactic genocide of 670,000,000,000 Gorillion people” is a premise so fucking stupid it makes “somehow palpatine returned” sound genuinely engaging.

17 years ago today, Stephanie Brown donned her Batgirl suit for the first time in Batgirl 2009 #3.
DC Universe Infinite lists Batgirl 2009 #3’s release date as October 14, 2009.

I was planning to attend New York Comic-Con tomorrow like I do every year, but unfortunately, I had to cancel it due to health issues.

That document of responses was painful to read through as a Steph fan.

I finally regained control of my Reddit account. Unfortunately, I found that the hacker who did the phishing scam used my account as a puppet to scam dozens of other users. My chat is massive because of how many users he targeted.

My Reddit account was stolen in a phishing scam, and they demanded $300 if I wanted it back. I reported it to Reddit Help and I’ll have to wait a week for them to get back, if they do at all.

The scam has been going on for months now, apparently. Here’s a /r/reddithelp post warning users about it (that I failed to read before the scam hit me). reddit.com/r/reddithelp/s/eF…

I adapted three scenes from Detective Comics #647 to audio as part of an upcoming project I’m taking part in.

The final scene was the first one I recorded and it’s the one I put the most effort into, with ambience and sound effects. I recorded the other two scenes because I was asked if I was willing to do a scene with Tim and Bruce.

Prepare for a dark future for both companies. This will lead to an astronomical amount of debt, more mass layoffs and instability, and eventually the merged company might end up being sold off for parts.

Paramount has reached a settlement on the lawsuit with the 12 U.S. states and can move forward with the Warner Bros merger. An official announcement will happen later today. (Source: bloomberg.com/news/articles/…)

Just got back from seeing Mask of the Phantasm in theaters! It was an amazing experience and I’m so glad DC decided to bring it back to the big screen for Batman Day.

Tell me the year you were born using a DC character who was introduced that year. Don't put the actual year. Just the DC character.

If a character’s pre-Crisis and post-Crisis incarnations are allowed to be counted as two separate characters, there’s also post-Crisis Kara Zor-El.

To my Steph friends: don’t worry. She’s going undercover in a gang and will probably drop the stupid “Clu” mantle after this series is over.
G !!@spishermanSep 18
Putting Stephanie in Cluemaster colors and calling her Clu should genuinely be a crime against humanity and I’d like to see someone prosecuted

Also, New Titans #41 is coming out around the same time as Gangs of Gotham #2 and still has Steph on the team in her usual outfit, so they’re probably ignoring what’s happening in the Bat-books.

DiMaggio is also one of my favorite Joker actors. I got his autograph at NYCC a couple years ago.

Happy 58th birthday to the talented John DiMaggio. The iconic voice behind Bender in ‘Futurama,’ Jake the Dog in ‘Adventure Time,’ and many other characters.
