So, a Trump supporter told me that, “nobody gives a sh*t” about Indigenous Peoples Day. Please, tell me, do you care about Indigenous Peoples Day?

Congratulations Justice Pillay!
The committee in granting her the Nobel peace prize: “An international legal system in which war criminals are held to account and the victims of abuse see justice served is a precondition for a peaceful world.”
May this justice start in Palestine

Take a listen to this and tell me Kathryn Anne Edwards is wrong I dare you, and I’ll call you a liar.
Trickle down and the Laffer Curve are a joke. The laffer Curve should have been called the Laughter Curve, because the rich have been laughing at workers ever since the phase was coined.
If worker wages had kept up with corporate greed since the 1970s, American wages would be double what they are today and there would be no economic or affordability crisis.
My thanks to Jon Stewart for the clip

I can absolutely, and without fear of contradiction tell you that what former Anthropic researcher Jacob Coxon says here is unquestionably correct.
The problem is, greed will dictate that it will not happen. I have been working over 12 hours a day with Anthropic’s Claud Code and Cowork for less than three weeks.
In that short time, it has truly been an epiphany for me. As someone who has worked in the enterprise application development space for a living, it has absolutely blown my mind when it comes to its capabilities.
Do I fear it? It’s a game changer in my particular case because the acceleration it brings to the development process is like nothing I’ve ever experienced. If it’s one thing I have learned from this experience is, it needs to be handled with great care. Regulation in my opinion is an absolute imperative, and we ignore that need at our peril.
I can best sum it up by saying I would NEVER want it as my enemy, yet Trump and his obscenely wealthy acolytes are training it to be just that. In businesses
I see it as an indispensable tool that absolutely can change the way you think about the creative process, be it software development, music, art and almost every part of our lives.
It’s not the A.I. that will kill us, it’s those at the top whose sole purpose is to profit from it regardless of the human cost. It can absolutely change our lives for the good, but those driving the bus have no interest in it doing that, because it will impact their bottom line.

Time for a history lesson from Professor Trevor Poutine,
Trevor holds three university degrees, including an Honours BA, a Bachelor of Education (BEd), and a Master's Degree focusing on 1914–1945 Europe, with specializations in propaganda and the Holocaust. So I think he knows of what he speaks.

Honesty means being honest with the British people about the Climate Emergency and having a National Emergency briefing on all media Chanel’s led by you Andy.
We can't carry on as we are.
Politics as usual has taken Britain backwards, and more of the same won't get us where we need to be.
Today, I'll set out a different path for our country.
That means having an honest conversation about the things we've ignored for too long, from fixing social care and tackling youth unemployment to giving people more control over energy, water and housing.
Hope comes from honesty.
It comes from saying the things politicians usually avoid, being straight about the challenges we face, and having the courage to fix them.
That's exactly what I will do.

People really have woken up to the fact that climate change is happening but unfortunately they, in the main, have little or no clue how dire the climate crisis is right now. I wonder how many people realise that 4 billion people are going to die within decades if we continue on our current trajectory. I don’t see any other political party other than the Greens that actually understands the problem & wants to solve it. That to my mind is number 1 through 80 billion in order of importance, we lose the lot if we don’t get the climate emergency resolved, that’s the truth of the matter.
Labour has delayed its plans to allow new North Sea drilling until after the Holborn and St Pancras byelection.
A Green win on 8th October will add pressure on Labour to reverse this shortsighted and dangerous plan.
