Great news! Great book! "One committee member called the prize winner, 'One of the best books I’ve ever read.'"
A wonderful evening as the featured speaker at the World Affairs Council annual meeting in Springfield, Mass., talking about my latest book, *My Hijacking: A Personal History of Forgetting and Remembering,* including high school students with such thoughtful questions.
Thank you very kindly, @JRakove.
We were happy to find our books on the shelves of the thriving indy Harvard Bookstore, @HarvardBooks, in Cambridge, Mass., last week
Hiking in Wales was wonderful (and gloriously cold in June): that's my sweetheart on the peak of Sugar Loaf, in Brecon Beacons National Park. Then onto Berlin, including our favorite cafe, with its semi-secret writing-loft-for-two.
My father, #StuartHodes, who danced in Broadway shows, is listed here: “The Tony Awards joins with the entire theatre community in remembering friends and colleagues who have left us during the past months….They are always in our hearts." tonyawards.com/news/memoriam…
Graham 2, the Martha Graham School's apprentice company, honored my father this evening, performing his 1951 dance, "Flak," with 3 beautiful young men.
A wonderful evening at the Westport Library! #twitterstorians, #history

On this anniversary of President Lincoln's death, the words of the Gettysburg Address ring bright: “It is for us the living," Lincoln said, "to be dedicated...to the unfinished work...that government of the people, by the people, for the people shall not perish from the earth.”
Philly folks, come on by for *Murder in a Mill Town* on April 25!

I really want a gif of Kamala giving a side-eye to the Mike Johnson as he negotiated with himself whether to stand and applaud at Biden’s mention of John Lewis
