The Irish soccer team welcomed a special guest during their training session today: Coach Mark Leader, who led the team to the state championship in ‘08. His message for the boys: "Win, lose, or draw, leave everything, including your sweat and emotions, on the field."
Beyond proud of the lads tonight. We were able to overcome an outstanding MBA side. Tate McCarty was huge in the net…saving 2 PKs to secure the win. Final Four bound!!! ☘️☘️

What a match! Proud to share that our Irish Soccer team took down one of the top teams in the state, Father Ryan, with a solid 2-0 victory in Day 2 of the Smoky Mountain Cup! It truly takes a team effort, and we had that in every play today. #GoIrish #SmokyMountainCup
Absolute war at Farragut. Came up short in an 0-1 loss but fought till the final whistle. Proud of the Irish and respect to the Admirals for the result.
Tough 0-1 result tonight vs a solid Knox Central side. Hate to lose any game but feel the guys are ready for the regular season to begin. We host Alcoa on Monday to kicks things off! ☘️☘️
Another solid preseason tune up. 3-1 win over Karns. Jack Tucker with a brace and Liam Gray bags his first goal as a member of the Fighting Irish. We travel to Knox Central on Thursday for our final preseason match
Here’s a link for a GoFundMe to help the family of one of our own after such a tragic loss. Wes was a proud Catholic grad. And even though he was an Arsenal fan 🥹I respected his work and I especially respect what he stood for.
