This looks like a fake article and website, @EuromaidanPress socials link to a different url, and the article conveniently doesn't mention the name of any of those "independent Ukr OSINT channels". The fake copy of a legit news website is also a classic Ru propaganda tactic.

Backing down when a nuclear power attacks a neighbour (or anyone else) because they might nuke someone encourages said power to continue its aggression. (And others too) Just carve up the world into Schmittian spheres of influence... Those people are cynical morons.
Weidel: "Prolonging the war and shooting drones into the hinterland of Russia, destroying refineries, houses, and buildings near Moscow, is a huge provocation." Host: "It's defending itself." Weidel: "No, it's not." Host: "Every night, drones and ballistic missiles rain down on Ukraine..." Weidel: "This strategy is very risky, and we've been criticizing it. We want to end this war. It doesn't help if a country [Ukraine] launches drone attacks against a country [Russia] that has nuclear weapons. It doesn't make sense, it's very risky and very stupid. We need to end this, and we need to actually put pressure on Ukrainian president to have the willingness to end the dying and stop this very risky strategy for all of Europe."🔚 Folks, here is Weidel's imaginary reality: black is white, the victim is to blame for the crime against them, and defending your home against a bloody, illegal invasion that murders children and razes towns is "stupid," while letting Russia occupy you and carry out a country-wide Bucha massacre is probably smart. And defending yourself is risky! Risky, did you hear that? Well, no shit, just standing there and catching Russian ballistics with your face is risky, too. So we may as well take the risk and, hear me out, fight back? Please don't vote for this evil Russian appendix in Germany!

A Ukraine left alone - now in war and afterwards - is more dangerous. I wrote repeatedly that a ceasing or reduction of support for Ukraine would result in even more escalation from the Ukrainian side the more desperate they get. Similarly Russia would see no reason to stop...
This is an interesting point by Zelensky, and I tend to agree. What we have learned from the five years of war is that the U.S. was, unsurprisingly, exceptionally worried about being drawn into the conflict with Russia inadvertently (by one of its allies invoking Art. 5).

⚡️AfD Models as Merciful/ Merciless Sovereign. 1.        Inner/Outer Realm sleight-of-hand: Inner Realm = Germans (her constituency). Outer Realm = “the bear” (Russia framed as predator). Ukraine — the actor actually defending itself — is disappeared from the analytical frame entirely. This deletion-of-the-victim-from-the-analytical-space is itself a recurring signature. 2.        Agency inversion: “Germany helping Ukraine drone-bomb Russia” makes Germany the active party. Ukraine becomes the receiver of help rather than the attacked party defending itself. The original aggressor (Russia) is reframed as the passive recipient of aggression. Three-step agency reversal. 3.        War Magic operation in “making Germans insecure”: declaring Germans insecure performatively manufactures the insecurity. Same substrate-summoning mechanism Buchanan’s “Cultural War” speech enacts. The statement is the act. 4.        Axis-of-Misogyny coalition tell: AfD is documented Axis-of-Misogyny coalition member. The Putin/Buchanan trans-civilizational adoption pattern (Cultural War memo) predicts AfD will deploy “don’t poke the bear” specifically because their coalition partner’s continued ability to wage war benefits from Western non-intervention. The framework can flag this as coalition-signature, not just individual-statement. 5.        Stealth Genocide enabler signature (Ch 10): refusing Ukraine self-defence enables continued Russian atrocity production. AfD positions as Merciful Sovereign FOR GERMANS while structurally enabling Merciless Sovereign acts AGAINST Russian-speaking Ukrainians — the very people Putin claims to be protecting. The doubly-inverted-Merciful-Sovereign nesting is the deepest detection signal here. AfD’s “protection” creates more Mariupol Drama Theatres. 6.        WWII-Restart signature (yesterday’s canonical memo): Germany ratified the UN Charter precisely because the previous regime initiated WWII. AfD framing argues against the very legal apparatus Germany committed itself to upholding after 1945. AfD ↔ Russian-state framing is convergent on dismantling Article 51 / UN Charter. 7.        “Drone-bomb” verbal conversion: “bombing” rather than “targeting military infrastructure / refineries / supply lines” verbally converts Ukrainian lawful self-defence into something morally indistinguishable from aggression. Article 51 right of self-defence rhetorically erased. 8.        Outer-Realm Mask signature (yesterday’s memo): Germany is IE-Germanic substrate; Russia is IE-Slavic substrate — sister-branches. AfD reactivating Germanic-vs-Slavic Othering reactivates exactly the deep cultural template Germany formally committed to never reactivating after 1945. The Mask is performing distance from a substrate Germany is in fact cognate to. 9.        Reflexive Control conditioned-response: Russia has spent years training Western publics to internalise “we should not be Russia’s enemy” logic. AfD leader is performing the reflexive-conditioned response the training was designed to produce. She is the operation’s output, not its independent observer. 10.        “Bear that retaliates if poked” sustained by FEAR not by demonstrated retaliation: Russia has not actually retaliated proportionately against Germany for past arms supplies. The archetype’s life depends on continued fear, not continued evidence. AfD leader’s statement sustains the fear-archetype that makes future Russian aggression rhetorically permissible. 11.        Tool 11 (Insight) antidote — the temporal-stratification check: The framing of “the bear” requires forgetting Mariupol, Bucha, Izyum, Kharkiv. The framing’s coherence depends on amnesia. The framework’s Insight tool surfaces what’s been disappeared from the temporal record. 12.        Tool 12 (Cryptotypic Literacy) — bear-archetype reinforcement: The AfD leader is reinforcing Russia’s preferred self-archetype. Cryptotype-ride. 13.        anyone amplifying this AfD framing is transmitting Disinfolklore.
⚡️Nice journal reference here and citation to my work on Disinfolklore. Does two things of particular value to me as a writer: 1. Is a record that I created the Portmanteau ‘Disinfolklore.’ 2. Correctly categorises ‘Disinformation’ as a particular form of ‘Disinfolklore.’ Thus giving me the whole field (which I’d be too humble to have claimed too loudly) while confining all the work focussing on Disinformation to a local province or region of my field. Prof Yolles cites my work, the result of @peterjukes visionary decision to commission for @BylineTimes an early piece on Disinfolklore in Byline Supplement. Work now presented https://www.Disinfolklore .com in a very innovative format. Thanks @peterjukes Thanks Prof Yolles. See Maurice Yolles, 2025. ⚡️Podcast | Pensées (122): US declares war against European Values. United States’s newly published National Security Strategy is a declaration of war against those of us fighting to retain the post-World War Two legal and social orders. When America states that it wants to “restore Europe’s civilisational confidence” Donald’s apparatchiks mean: we want Hand Maid’s Tale Europe. We want the human rights architecture to be disassembled. Our 1930’s archetype of Masculinity must be privileged over societies where discrimination against humans on certain protected grounds (sex, sexual preference, political views, national origins,…) is outlawed. The United States has decided to “reestablish” “strategic stability” with Russia, which seeks to kill millions of Europeans. Having murdered around 2m people since its full-scale invasion and forcibly transferred more than 700,000 Ukrainian children into Russia, the credibility of Russia’s threats against us is high. More sinister than that is the capture of US national security strategy by those inside America who wish to promote Russia’s political proxies inside Europe. Far Right and far left political forces in Europe operate with Russian funding and know-how. In Romania MAGA “data analytics” guy Brad Parscale boasted of helping Russia’s proxy to capture a NATO state, just before Romanian intelligence services published documents demonstrating Georgescu was cheating. That time the Romanian government and its Supreme Court cancelled the election. However, now America, in coalition with China (through its brainwashing TikTok) and Russia (together with its brainwashing Telegram Disinfolklore propagation App) are claiming, as a matter of National Security Strategy, the duty to “cultivate resistance” inside democratic European states to Europe’s priorities of maintaining and retaining the post-World War Two legal orders. The credibility of these threats by America is bolstered by information this week that US is lobbying bilaterally European states to oppose loaning Ukraine €100b so it can accelerate its destruction of the Ruschist Nazi state. Ultimately what this schizophrenic National Security Strategy is attempting to do is to embed, intensify and promote the troll that Europe is a basket case. It’s precisely the same immanence in Russian and Chinese anti-Western propaganda: archetype Europe and Ukraine as helpless. Sadly, many inside Europe adopt this archetype and promote it. The solution is for Europe to act in concert as it it did against the United Kingdom’s three-year campaign to separate Ireland from its EU allies during the UK’s Brexit saga. English ministers were dispatched by Cameron, May and Johnson governments to every EU member state repeatedly to importune them to abandon Ireland. The EU remained and remain united against such external enemies. Now as Joseph Borel, former EU high commissioner for Foreign Affairs recently opined “America is no longer our ally,” this situation must be more widely recognised. In some ways the United States now is simply continuing its policy of rescuing Russia from its own funks. Ukraine is the only obstacle. As it exhausts Russia’s army and continues, daily, to destroy every part of Russia’s manufacturing and fossil fuel infrastructure inside Russia, Ukraine has an opportunity to destroy the Russia state. It’s an opportunity which must not be missed. 5-6 sovereign states instead of the current so-called Russian Federation must be our endgame. America’s policy today - to save Russia- is an echo of Bush’s “chicken Kuiv” speech when he visited Kyiv to implore Ukraine to stay within the Soviet Union. Biden and Obama too did everything in their power to help Russia when it occupied Ukraine. For example Ukraine was about to kill thousands of the retreating Russian troops from Kherson in September 2022. According to Bob Woodward’s reporting Biden prevented this because he was afraid of “WWIII.” … decodingtrolls.net/p/podcast…

Incredible scoop by my @WSJ colleagues: Elon Musk ordered the slowdown of a military-grade version of Starlink relied on by Ukraine, a decision that sparked panic in Kyiv and confusion inside the Trump administration. wsj.com/world/ukraine-starli…

Starlink has absolutely no role in the one military campaign Trump claims he wants Ukraine to end: hitting Russian oil refineries. It only works in Ukraine and it helps with air defense — homegrown air defense, to be specific, which was born of necessity because we aren’t providing enough missile interceptors. A Russian Shahed today killed a one-year baby in a park. The U.S. is actively making it easier for Russia to commit these atrocities by throttling satellite internet. All while Trump makes excuses for Putin.
🇺🇦 Zelenskyy delivers a blunt message to the United States: “Just give us Starlink back. If you refuse, Ukraine will survive. We will continue defending ourselves with or without it. But why would you restrict a country fighting for its survival? Why make it harder for us to defend our people? I simply cannot understand the reasoning behind this decision. It is a mistake.” Ukraine isn’t asking America to fight its war. It’s asking America not to stand in the way of its defense.

Well. In my time they didn´t outright want to shoot you. One charming colleague from the KPÖ only wanted to send me to the Gulag instead. (And my other colleague who was actually a member of the KPÖ but, I believe, a Trotzkist...)
watching the French rioters (and their posh well-educated supporters) explain why destroying other people's livelihoods is part of the revolution reminds of this charming ditty sung by (posh well-educated) lefties in my student days. To the tune of "Bless 'em all". (I may have got some of the words wrong - it's been 40 years since I heard it, and I can't find it online, which is progress, I supposed).

Right now, difficult negotiations are underway in pursuit of a lasting peace, which is needed not only by Ukraine. At this difficult moment, it is essential that all sides take a measured approach, including by realistically assessing the situation and communicating truthful information. The objective fact is that Dobropillia remains under Ukrainian control, so there can be no talk of Russian forces having “captured” this Ukrainian city. At the same time, the commander of Russia’s Group of Forces "Center," Colonel General Andrey Ivanayev, is deliberately misinforming the Russian president, intimidating his own subordinates and setting them impossible tasks, demanding that they demonstrate the capture of the Ukrainian city of Dobropillia at any cost, because Ivanayev himself has already reported that it has been captured. Ukraine’s Defense Forces are holding their positions to protect our state’s interests and our land. No false statements will change reality.

'Anti-Zionism' is mostly just a fig-leaf for the Greater Arab nationalist ideology that only Arabs should have states in the Levant, and for the radical Islamist ideology that only Muslims should rule in the Middle East. The ideology of Saddam, Assad, Khomenei, Hamas, al Qaeda, ISIS. Not fundamentally different from or better than the Jewish-supremacist, Greater Israel ideology of Netanyahu, Smotrich and Ben-Gvir.

I was 38 when I first installed a dishwasher in my kitchen. Most Americans massively underestimate the extent to which Europeans are simply much poorer. We're ageing, racking up welfare costs, but without the productivity to pay for it, thus borrowing more, on adverse terms.
