This stuff fascinates me. I believe humans will always have meaningful work that will pay. Every technological innovation brought with it the fear of replacement, and the fear was partially deserved. But that innovation brought forth new opportunities to create value.
We’ll be ok.
This is f*cking insane. Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei was asked what a kid graduating high school should do now. His answer:
"It will also eliminate jobs, and probably a large number of them"
In 35 seconds, he names who gets hit first: entry-level law, entry-level finance, entry-level consulting
His own prediction: 50% of entry-level white-collar jobs disrupted in 1 to 5 years
Every past disruption gave people time to adapt. He says this one is deeper and coming faster
Prompts → Agents → Harness → Loops → The One Running the AI
His advice: learn to use AI. Using it won't be enough. You need a harness that runs it for you

AI won't replace you. Someone with a harness will
95% will keep applying for jobs AI already does, the 5% who build a harness will be the ones running it
Bookmark it and send it to someone just starting their career
Then use the guide below to build your harness before everyone else does ↓
This was the last time I ever watched a TV series (besides South Park lol). It had me absolutely, positively captivated from episode one. I continued on with every season until Kiefer left. I even have President Heller's trench coat. Bought it off Ebay lol. Pic in comments.
Good job you guys. Does it bother you that one of the most evil men on the planet is excited about the way you voted?
Maybe it was the timing in my life. Maybe it was Goldeneye on the Nintendo 64 I spent HOURS/DAYS playing with my college/work friends (paintball mode - IYKYK). But this is my absolute favorite Bond movie and there's no close second.
I am compelled to share this if for nothing else the use of "allahu akbarriers." I am dead. Also buying this guy's book now.
My dear God how awesome it must have been to be Joe Walsh. Listen to him explain the song "Life's Been Good" which is one of my top five songs of all time. I can't complain, but sometimes I still do. I say that all the time. Take a listen; he's funny as f!!!
Here's a wildly entertaining look back at the song, Life's Been Good by none other than the man himself, Joe Walsh. I don't know if you ever heard him talking before, but the man is not all there. He's absolutely hilarious and incredibly talented, obviously. I love hearing The story behind this Legendary tune.
Silver lining: two years from now the dems are going to be as disappointed as we were for the first two.
