I so enjoyed this conversation with Iranian American Pastor Shahram Hadian, who shared his story of fleeing Iran and coming to faith in Christ.
"I look back, and I know that was the true God that was seeking after me and trying to get my attention." @shahramhadian shares his story of God's protection as his family fled Iran. Guest host: @MaryEStackhouse

A great, full-circle moment. For the last five months, Andrew Coates and his family have been trying to get the city of Fremont, Nebraska, to correct a wrong. Tuesday night, after a national uproar over the blatant discrimination toward homeschool graduates, the City Council unanimously voted to amend its policy. This is a testament to what citizens can do when they get involved. Many of you prayed and acted on behalf of Andrew and homeschool families. Thank you and keep standing!

Amen. 🙏
25 years after 9/11, we honor the past not simply by remembering what happened, but by recovering the moral clarity, courage, and unity that make us strong. But may we sustain that strength by staying on our knees in humble dependence upon our God.

Pray today as oral arguments are heard in this critical case: Louisiana v. FDA.
🚨 Tomorrow, the U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals will hear oral arguments in State of Louisiana v. Food and Drug Administration. Please pray. Case history: Louisiana is challenging the FDA’s Biden-era rule that removed in-person visit requirements for dispensing the abortion drug, mifepristone. This unlawful policy has allowed mifepristone to be ordered online without any medical oversight, leading to significant health risks to the mothers. It has been a green light to abusers and other bad actors who have coerced the mothers or surreptitiously given the deadly drug to them. A mailbox and a bathroom have become the abortion clinic of the twenty-first century. And the abortion drug has been flooding into pro-life states. The case has been paused since April, and soon after, the Supreme Court ruled that abortion drugs could continue flowing into Louisiana until the FDA completes its review. Ahead of the oral arguments tomorrow, please join @FRCdc in praying: -For Louisiana @AGLizMurrill's office – that their case would be presented clearly, persuasively, and that the Lord’s favor would be with them. -For the Fifth Circuit – that the judges would recognize the merit of Louisiana’s argument and grant the state’s attorneys the result they are seeking. -For the Trump administration – more broadly, that they would repeal approval of mifepristone altogether. But at minimum, pray they would swiftly adopt a policy that aligns with its declaration that abortion belongs under state jurisdiction. The court’s eventual decision will determine whether Louisiana’s challenge to the 2023 mail-order policy proceeds, is thrown out, or remains paused pending the FDA’s further review of the drug’s safety.

Tonight, instead of tying our hope to specific outcomes, let’s tie ourselves to the very heart of God. Because the story He is writing for us is so much better than anything we could write ourselves.

This was a fascinating interview on George Washington and the man of deep faith that he was. As Dr. Lillback explains, there’s plenty of evidence that shows that Washington was influenced and inspired by his Christian faith and Scripture in both his private and public life.
George Washington "came to love the doctrine of providence... He believed that God was active in history; that's why it's impossible to identify him as a deist." @WestminsterTS's Dr. Peter Lillback explains George Washington's foundation of faith. Guest host: @MaryEStackhouse

President of @FRCdc @tperkins reacted to the DOJ’s report earlier today. In a post on X, he said the new DOJ report further confirms the Biden FBI used the discredited SPLC to target Catholic priests and parishes simply for practicing their faith.
A new @TheJusticeDept report finds the Biden FBI "relied on biased information to target... conservative Catholics, including information from the Southern Poverty Law Center." @MaryEStackhouse reports. Guest host: @JodyHiceFRCA

PRESS RELEASE: FRC's Tony Perkins Travels to Ukraine to Address National Prayer Breakfast, Stand in Solidarity with Ukrainian Christians "There is a war for Ukraine's territory, but the battlefield we see reflects a greater battle being waged in the heavenlies--a battle for the soul of Ukraine and the hearts of its people," says Perkins. Kyiv, Ukraine -- On Sunday, Family Research Council President Tony Perkins delivered an address before the National Prayer Breakfast of Ukraine, a gathering that included high-level Ukrainian officials, international partners, faith leaders, military personnel, chaplains, families of fallen heroes, charitable organizations, and youth leaders. The event was held under the patronage of the President of Ukraine and continues a tradition that began in the United States in 1953. This year's Prayer Breakfast carried special historical significance, marking the 35th anniversary of Ukraine's independence and the dissolution of the Soviet Union. For decades, the Soviet regime imposed state atheism, restricted religious freedom, and persecuted churches and believers. Its collapse opened the way for the restoration of faith, freedom of conscience, and the revival of spiritual life across the region. Today, Ukraine stands as a country where religious freedom is upheld, and diverse faith communities live and serve openly, even in the midst of war. While in Ukraine, Perkins also participated in a "35 Years of Faith and Freedom" international forum, alongside Senators James Lankford and Richard Blumenthal, General Keith Kellogg, and the 48th Vice President of the United States, Mike Pence. Additionally, he attended various Independence Day ceremonies, including participating in a special prayer service with President Zelensky and top religious leadership of the nation at the Saint Sophia Cathedral, the oldest surviving church in Kyiv.
