ALT Yesterday, as part of our #ITF_Corporate Partnership Board www.itf-oecd.org/cpb programme of work, we held an engaging workshop on book and claim. As it gains traction as a tool to support #decarboisation across modes, we discussed how book and claim differs from other chain of custody models, multisectoral considerations, the opportunities and limitations of a book and claim systems implementation, and standards necessary to ensure its credibility. 💬 The discussions covered: ✅ Applications of Book and Claim in the aviation and maritime sectors ✈️🚢 ✅ Articulating Book and Claim— Voluntary GHG accounting and compliance ✅ Application of Book and Claim in other sectors ✅ Multisectoral considerations—ensuring broader sustainability impact The final report will be released at #COP30 #Belém where ITF will play a role as UN Climate Change focal point for #transport for the under the #MarrakechPartnership
