A total of 42 Geometry Dash moderators were demoted today, after RobTop announced a major restructuring of the game's moderating system heading into Update 2.209.
The "Moderator" role has been renamed to "Rating Advisor," while "Elder Moderator" is now simply "Moderator." RobTop says the team was reduced in size so each level recommendation from a Rating Advisor or Moderator carries more weight. He also states that those removed from the team were not necessarily demoted because of poor performance.
Going forward, promotions and demotions for Rating Advisor and Moderator will no longer be publicly announced, and applications will be permanently closed.

I feel like my return video needs to be so incredible to justify my absence, and I think that’s part of what causes that resentment to open the video editing software. Then I’ll go on YouTube and watch my peers’ videos for “inspiration”, but really it’s a catalyst for comparison.
