This hungry queen #bumblebee certainly appreciates the hard work gone into establishing and keeping this #OSR crop alive. An early source of #nectar for important #pollinators @BASFcropUK

Musings from the field: #Frost damage on leaf 4 evident on the odd plant. #Aphid numbers on the up and fairly easily spotted. First signs of #yellowrust in the Zyatt. And upright nature of leaf emergence showing how easy #septoria can spread with direct contact. T1 applied today.
From well tillered over wintered #ryegrass
to fresh spring germinators it’s easy to see why it can be such a problematic grass weed.
#luximo keeping plots impressively clean vs UT in our #Cheshire trial site. @BASFcropUK
Fascinating to see just how many #conidia (spores) are ejected from just one #pycnidia within this #Septoria lesion.
@BASFcropUK
Normal service has resumed rain wise down at our Rawcliffe Bridge #Realresults farm. Unsuprisingly KWS Extase the most forward of the varieties but only 30-40% leaf 4 emerged in this crop drilled Mid September. @BASFcropUK
With half the average rainfall in April and June + hot windy days, drought stress very evident down at our #Realresultsfarm at Rawcliffe bridge . Benefits above disease control exhibited in quite a few varieties. UT vs #Revystar T1/T2. @BASFcropUK some coping better than others.
Come say hello over the next two days at the @dkbcrop Open Day on the 28th/29th June and learn more about #Luximo our brand new mode of action grass weed active for this autumn @BASFcropUK
#Revystar T1 fb T2 looking good keeping out #yellowrust in #zyatt and #skyfall at our #realresultsfarm
Tight timings which haven’t been easy this season with wind and rain limiting spray days. Pressure still there so T3 crucial in prolonging yield protection. @BASFcropUK
Quick snap shot of the plots down at the #rawcliffebridge #realresultsfarm. Leaf 3 in varying degrees of emergence. #septoria easy to find and the first signs of #yellowrust in the usual suspects. Locally, #barley also showing up some high #netblotch infection @BASFcropUK
Clear differences here in the longveity of different products on keeping #Septoria at bay, which in mid-june could be very difficult to seperate out. Extending that GLA duration key to capturing as much of that yield building sunlight as possible. @BASFcropUK
Interesting but worrying insights here into how all tools will needed in the future to even maintain (or lessen the slip) of the status quo

Untreated varieties, increasing #septoria resistance left to right (4.9 to 8.3): Gravity , Costello, Gleam, Saki, Graham, Sundance, Extase and Theodore. Subject to change of course @BASFcropUK
How fast does #septoria move through a crop at this time of year? Untreated Barrel Friday morning on the left vs Monday Morning on the right down at Rawcliffe Bridge @BASFcropUK
With recent rains and higher temperatures disease starting to pop down a #Rawcliffebridge fungicide plots

Great to see @rebecca_joynt + @ChloeMo95 discuss @ADASGroup #Revysol and #RevystarXE research with 2 scientific papers at the International Symposium for Crop Protection
✅Highest curative activity
✅Increased healthy area duration+yield
✅Strongest genetics, strongest chemistry

Tough start to the year for the #solitarybees Cold frosty April with food sources slow to flower means limited pollen/nectar collected by these #redmasonbee well behind last year. #pollinators #NoMowMay @MikeGreenSustAg @BASFcropUK

Great looking crop of InV1166 CL near Selby, has survived wet feet, pigeon attack, near drought, and heavy frosts, but still podding up impressively. Brassica weed issues dealt with too thanks to the Clearfield technology @ProCamUK , #agronomythatdelivers, @BASFcropUK
