Behind every layoff is a family facing uncertainty and a community feeling the loss. With Cannondale closing its Wilton office and S&S Worldwide announcing layoffs, what is Connecticut doing to retain good jobs?

Connecticut taxpayers deserve to know what their money bought, and where the work happened. Did the state’s $20 million Infosys contract deliver the promised results?

Governor Lamont, you proposed fuel tax relief in March. Families and small businesses are still waiting. What changed, and where is the relief?

When will Connecticut decide on the federal scholarship tax credit? Governor Lamont, what questions remain? Young minds can’t wait.

Decisions about our communities, homes, and future require clear explanations. From Plainfield to housing matters, residents deserve to be heard and to have leadership that takes responsibility. While you can delegate the work, you cannot delegate the responsibility.

Your electric bill shouldn’t come with unanswered questions. The Eversource–Lamont texts deserve scrutiny. Ratepayers deserve transparency, strong ethics rules, and clear answers

Government should work for the people. I support clear parental notification and consent rules, transparent school policies, and time for residents to review legislation and be heard. Open government. Clear rules. Leadership that follows through.

It’s overdue. Connecticut families and businesses need relief now. Governor Lamont, suspend the gas tax and work with the legislature on diesel relief, too. The cost of fuel reaches far beyond the pump, from deliveries to the groceries on our shelves. Make sure the savings reach the people paying these bills. Put the people first, not politics.

When employees raise serious concerns, they deserve to be heard. The facts deserve a fair review, and leadership needs to follow through. That’s the standard we should expect from Connecticut government.

Connecticut deserves to hear about its future before early voting starts. Voters should have the chance to see candidates answer tough questions, side-by-side, before casting their ballots.

Who is watching the watchdogs? Audits and transparency laws only matter if someone follows through when problems are found. We don’t need another bureaucracy. We need accountability from the government we already have. Connecticut can do better.

We were told this new state commission would be made up of unpaid volunteers. Now there’s a $250,000 no-bid contract connected to its chairman. Maybe there’s a good explanation. If so, taxpayers deserve to hear it. Transparency and accountability matter.

I’m saddened to hear of the passing of former Lieutenant Governor Nancy Wyman. I want to thank her for her many years of public service and dedication to the people of Connecticut. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends. God bless. Former Connecticut Lt. Gov. Nancy Wyman dies, sources say share.google/5xdYm2PDxdJ9UeV…

Regardless of whether you support or oppose data centers, we need to talk about what safeguards and oversight should exist when the state enters into substantial, decades‑long tax incentive agreements. Should decisions involving millions of dollars in long‑term tax incentives rest primarily with one commissioner or a small group of appointed officials, or should elected representatives, the people who answer directly to voters, have a stronger role in approving these deals? As for me, I believe we need stronger oversight and real accountability. When the state makes commitments that last decades and affect taxpayers for a generation, the process should be transparent, documented, and reviewed by officials who are directly responsible to the public. Government should work for you, not around you. insideinvestigator.org/appro…

I concur wholeheartedly with Senator Fazio. I have consistently stood against sanctuary state policies and supported enforcement of our immigration laws Constantly attacking & suing the federal government might be good politics in a Democratic primary but the way to keep all our citizens safe will be to build cooperation between all levels of law enforcement
The deaths of Officer Cooper Whiteside and Brittany Islami are devastating, tragic, and should never have happened. My prayers are with their families, loved ones, and the entire Bridgeport Police Department. Governor Lamont has consistently put politics ahead of public safety. His weak-on-crime policies and refusal to enforce the law have made every Connecticut family and resident less safe. Officer Cooper Whiteside and Brittany Islami should have gone home that night. Gov. Lamont’s policies allowed Melissa Ramirez to be out freely in Connecticut, drive that car, and strike Officer Whiteside and Ms. Islami. Now there are children who will never see their mother again. And because of his pro-criminal Trust Act, Ramirez will still be allowed out on the streets freely in Connecticut after her sentence instead of being removed from Connecticut by authorities, where she does not have legal status to reside in the first place. As governor, I’ll always put public safety above politics, so that tragedies like these do not occur again.

I am saddened by the shocking loss last night of Senator Lindsey Graham. Lindsey Graham had been a great friend to our former CT Senator Joe Lieberman and had, from his days as an Air Force JAG officer, devoted his life to public service
