Pro ballpark #164, Robin Roberts Stadium in Springfield, Illinois, home to the inaugural season of the Women’s Pro Baseball League. The WPBL has done a really nice job with signage to make the ballpark their own for this summer’s relatively short WPBL season.

Five years after attending the Yankees-White Sox MLB at Field of Dreams game, it was fun to return for Tuesday's MiLB at Field of Dreams game between the St. Paul Saints and the Iowa Cubs.

Recently picked up pro ballparks #162 and #163 in Eugene and Hillsboro while we were in Oregon. Oregon is the 40th state in which I’ve seen pro baseball (the max I can currently get is 46).

Made a quick trip to Wrigley on Friday for a nice Twins win (the rest of the weekend did not go so well for the visiting club). My twelfth visit to the Friendly Confines, but my first for a night game.

We enjoyed Banana Ball at Kinnick Stadium! I was very aware of the concept and the popularity, but I hadn’t ever actually watched it. The baseball action was more legitimate than I feared. I'm sure some would argue against it, but I’m counting this as Pro Ballpark #161.

Passing through Rochester, Minnesota, on Tuesday we stopped at the "endangered ballpark," Mayo Field. As it is not a pro ballpark I don't add it to my list, but we enjoyed four innings before the rains came.

I recently had the chance to see old friends and revisit Kauffman Stadium for the first time in far too long, checked out a site that one could argue is somewhat Minnesota Twins-related, and add pro ballparks #159 and #160 in Tulsa and Blackwell, Oklahoma.

Spent some time inside the walls and behind bars for pro ballpark #158. The Big House Ballgame between the Joliet Slammers and the Gateway Grizzlies inside the Joliet Correctional Center. Baseball was played here starting in 1914. Slammers did a really nice job with this event.

Biked to and from @CRKernels earlier this week largely on @iowacitybike and @lctrails trails. Headwinds up, tailwinds on the return. Pinch hit walk-off homer for the home team.

A relatively late decision last week resulted in a quick trip to the Speedway Classic in Bristol, Tennessee. Bristol Motor Speedway is my 45th MLB ballpark (157th overall). I picked up GoMart Ballpark the night before in Charleston, West Virginia, for my 156th park.
