Baseball has things called "ghost runners" but they don't appear in October, even though it's the spookiest of all months

Today in 2008: For the first (and still only) time in World Series history, a game was suspended mid-play.
Game 5 between the Phillies and Rays at Citizens Bank Park was halted in the 6th inning with the score tied 2-2, rain pouring, and the infield literally underwater.
Carlos Peña's game-tying single splashed through a puddle to reach the outfield.
The game resumed 46 hours later on October 29, and the Phillies won 4-3 to clinch their second championship.
Good news for storm chasers.

This is such an insane thing to say out loud. No wonder Ashley Moody has been campaigning from the basement.
“When you stand up for representing the BOSSES and putting THEM first…we will thrive.”
Florida, vote @AngieNixon to stand up for working people.
