Warning to investors - here's what every Spacex & Tesla investor needs to know now This video serves as an urgent update for Tesla and SpaceX investors regarding a significant market sell-off. Despite Tesla stock dropping 11% and SpaceX shares down 8% (0:00-0:04), this is a broad market reaction rather than a company-specific issue, it presents a long-term buying opportunity (0:12-0:21). Key takeaways from the video include: Market Drivers: The sell-off is primarily attributed to political fears regarding AI regulation and proposed data center moratoriums (0:56-1:43). I note that while tech sectors are down, historical data suggests that markets often rebound after midterm election shifts (10:42-14:45). AI Productivity: I highlight the immense value and productivity gains from AI tools, arguing that the current "AI bubble" fears are unfounded because these technologies provide real, measurable business value (5:11-7:27). Political Context: The video analyzes the impact of a Republican president facing a Democratic Congress, citing historical market performance to suggest that such periods of gridlock have historically resulted in positive returns over the following year (7:30-14:55). Business Fundamentals: Despite the market noise, I assert that the fundamentals for Tesla and SpaceX remain strong and the overall necessity of AI and data center infrastructure for US competitiveness against China (16:19-16:51). The current downturn is a "silly sell-off" (long term). I'm buying.

Here's what every Tesla & Spacex investor needs to know right now explained in 6 charts 19 for 19. Across the 19 midterm elections from 1950–2022, the S&P 500 was higher 6 months AND 12 months later. Average gains: +14.1% and +15.1%, respectively. Price returns, excluding dividends. History of course not a guarantee for 2026 but it cannot be ignored.

Republican president + Democratic House and Senate was the most common setup in 1951–2025: 22 of 75 years. Average annual S&P 500 return: +4.9%, lowest of the six setups but still positive. Full calendar years, NOT post-midterm returns.

Democrats flipping BOTH chambers from Republicans under a continuing GOP president? Just two cases in the 1950–2022 midterm sample: 1954 and 2006. Average S&P 500 price gains: 3 months: +10.1% 6 months: +14.5% 12 months: +20.0%

Feeling good today
Charlie Munger: "If you're not willing to react with equanimity to a market price decline of 50%, you're not fit to be a common shareholder."

We're living through a long term buying opportunity. With truly big crashes the buying opportunity keeps getting bigger for a little while (meaning stocks keep dropping). I'm getting excited and getting more cash ready to buy.

What if Elon ran for Governor of Texas. He’d run the most efficient state in America in his spare time. Do you think he'd win?

By the way, I really don't think it would make sene for him to do it. But it's funny to think about it.

Hey, got a question. Why isn't Tesla building compute and selling it like spacex?
