I thought that the latest email from the club left a great deal to be desired. Saying that “the financial outcome for 2024/25 is very disappointing and a serious matter for the Club. Sussex Cricket recorded a significant operating loss …” without saying what the loss is .. 1/2

Sussex confirmed this week that their operating loss last year was £1.33m (down to loss was £762k at "group level" - ie including income from flats at Hove etc). AGM on 24th March, with four board members having stood down in the last month
.@SussexCCC means a lot to many of us. The 2025 accounts show serious financial deterioration & acknowledged governance failings. Change has started but it needs to be completed, quickly & responsibly. The focus must return to cricket. The Club needs stability now!
