I referenced Psalm 8 in my sermon today on the sacredness of human beings who are made “a little lower than angels.”
I then see a “comedian” at the Trump rally in NYC call Puerto Rico a floating pile of garbage, followed by additional racist commentary.
Vile.

Please remember that the campaign vetted these speakers. This was the message because it’s what they believe. Trump’s team thinks if you’re from PR, you’re just trash.
You’re not. And you don’t have to vote for someone who believes you’re trash.

If you talk about human beings like this and claim to be part of a movement that follows Jesus, you are actively taking Jesus’ name in vain.
Stop telling everyone we just have to accept this kind of vile, dehumanizing, and evil behavior as the only true “Christian option.”

White Evangelicalism in the U.S. is going to sell its Christian witness for 30 shekels of Donald Trump’s fickle favor.
When that number comes back over 81% of evangelicals supporting Donald Trump, despite all his lies, immoral behavior, and dangerous rhetoric, Donald will win while evangelical witness for Jesus will be cemented as a faith that isn’t about truth, morality, and speech that is motivated by love.
I miss Lewis Capaldi. His music has been a delight to our family. He seems to have been off “the scene” for a while. I hope he is finding hope and healing every day. #LewisCapaldi #HopeAndHealing

Will someone at @TwinsRadio get a message to whom ever runs the streaming audio?
“Please do better. These transitions are brutal. Plus, we missed half of the Wallner postgame interview. Some of us pay money to listen to the @Twins via the stream.”
Thank you.

Timelapse of the moon setting into streams of red and green aurora followed by a sunrise lighting up Soyuz with a light blue.
The aurora have been amazing the past few days. Great timing for trying out a new lens that recently arrived on Cygnus.

I was teaching a class 'How to love your neighbour who is sad'. To illustrate 'secret sadnesses', I shared that our dog has just died, and started to well up a bit. One girl came up to me afterwards, looked me in the eye and gave me a piece of paper. "This is for you," she said.

Update: We are $14,207 away from our housing goal to purchase a longterm home for 26 mother and fatherless kids!!!
Family do me a favor and kindly RESHARE this so we can get these babies a permanent home! Cost $0 but helps a TON!
Any size gift towards this campaign helps!!!
Just got some really SAD news. 💔The building that we use as our Orphanage is being sold. 26 kids live there. 🥹🥹
This is the ONLY facility with a clean water well, market, & a school nearby. If we are unable to purchase the facility from owner by March 1st & repair drinking well our 26 babies (ages 4-14) will be displaced.
How can you help?
1. Pray (drop a 🙏🏾)
2. Share
